Truth Behind The New Stadium [video]

By The Boy -

What’s the truth behind the New Destination™?

How plausible is the hope that you hold in your hearts?

Here Harry Hotspur gently walks you through the garden of Gethsemane, before abruptly nailing you to a few of bits of wood.

Have you thought this through, and if you haven’t, don’t worry, because Daniel has.

These are turbulent times and perhaps this 20 minute film will serve as a handy guide for people seeking answers to previously answered questions.

So grab yourself a hot beverage and listen to a talking cushion.

Yes, they have a parasite at the helm. But you wonder how many more seasons are going to have to tick by before enic are matching kroenke in spending 110m on a couple of quality players without selling first. Poch seemed to be under the impression that as soon as the new stadium was open the club would be able to compete for the best players.

Heard rumours Liverpool are looking at dembele from Barcelona. Now why are we not looking at him? Answer is cos we are up to our sacks in debt to pay for something that resides in n17 and that’s about where it ends. I despise the bin dippers and they probably won’t win the league, but they are trying. Their people have seen the wisdom of investing in the team and are now reaping the benefits. And they didn’t need to build anything more than an extension to a stand. So if that model worked for them, why couldn’t we have extended the West stand, with all the land there wouldn’t have been a big issue, saved ourselves loads of debt, invested in a once promising side, and who knows where we could have gotten to? The answer is herr flick is obsessed with the nfl franchise crap and hopes that’s where his final big pay day from Our football club is coming from. The ground is an asset and part of the enic sports and leisure franchise, along with tottenham hotspur football club. Or is that soccer team???? Anyone who can’t see this really needs professional help I’m afraid

Arsenal were told they’d be able to compete once they’d paid off the stadium. Hasn’t really happened for them. Kroenke has taken £600m OUT of the club since taking over.

Well thought out piece, salient points and professionally presented.
I think Levy’s financially cavalier approach almost certainly reveals he will attempt to sell the club within 12-18 months to a ‘Bond villian’ as even he with a zero football brain realises that non investment in top players will have a serious impact on the field.
So many new delicious words too and still deciding on which will be

Well in HH. Keep cutting through and exposing the balderdash. So what if we in the get 120 more tourists than Arsenal or whatever in our 60’000 plus soulless NFL groundshare. Gate receipts have been shown to be of limited importance in the scheme of things as you pointed out. Give me 38’000 hardcore with a bristling atmosphere and use a quarter of the Spunked stadium cash on quality footballers instead. That would have been a football clubs actions. Instead we are sold up the creek and Luke Amos and Oliver Skipps faces are on milk cartons. Goodnight Lilywhites. (Teeth gritted)

Very true, H. Far less important than the stadium’s opening date is the year when it stops being a gigantic economic liability/ drain/ albatross and starts allowing the club to compete with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal for players.

With at least twice as much now owing to Mace as was originally claimed, Levyologists should be asked as a first order of business to name the year when they think levy will be outbidding the dippers and arse.

On point as ever HH , the Cult is very powerful I have Spurs pals who in every other walk of life are sensible people but they too are under the delusional stupor that Levy has inflicted upon them.
How the Dumb Dumbs can’t see this situation for what it actually is is beyond me.
Building a new stadium is not some sort of cutting edge plan it’s just natural progression of a big football club, the problem with this glass monstrosity is the unnecesary over kill and the time it’s taken from infancy plans.
It’s past its sell by date (and price) before it’s even opened.
And although as all new/modernised things it will have a feel good factor for the 1st few times you go but like everything it just becomes a complete irrelevance because youve gone there for a particular purpose and that’s not to look at duct work and (appropriate) Glass ceilings.
The only way to compete properly is heavy investment in the Team, statements like the building costs do not effect the transfer budget mean fu ck all when the limits of our budget are you have to sell to buy and players can only cost 15-20mil….
The sheer piss take from the board and the delusion of the converted is of the highest level.

Gonna go have a little chat with mabsy and Mickey hazard in a bit. (The new shop) always good to talk to Mabsy. He always remembers me. He saw me make a cracking save from a steffan fraud free kick at the TOTTENHAM sports centre 🙂

Thanks Harry, will watch this this afternoon.
Looks like Chelsea are serious about signing Pulisic, maybe as a replacement for when Hazard goes? I don’t suppose you could get word the pratt that runs our club to get in there before they do?
He will cost a lot but surely the pratt that runs the club owes us and Poch a big signing??
