Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has confirmed talks with Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko. Trabzonspor are said to be a Turkish football team and Moussa Sissoko is said to be a Premier League footballer.

“We are in talks with Moussa Sissoko,” Usta said “He is a very important player, Tottenham paid £35million for him. He didn’t live up to expectations last season but this can happen in football.

“We want to loan him and get his career back on track. Obviously Tottenham do not want to give up on a player they paid that kind of money for but we will see.”

Quite why this poor man is citing £35million is anyone’s guess. I know it’s second nature to whack an admin fee on top of everything, but £5million is a bit strong even by his standards.

This is nothing but good news. Unless the galoot remains a Spurs player. In which case that will be nothing but very bad news.

With Moussa shunted Levy loses yet another excuse not to leap into action.

Colin Jackson is at West Ham’s stadium (“The London Stadium”?) on the news. It’s been converted back into an athletics track for the summer. I can’t help but laugh at the distance between the seats and the pitch..

Remember when we laughed at Sissoko putting in the performances of his life for France in that summer. We joked that he had pit an extra £10/15 mill on his price for whatever might that was gonna take h off Newcastle’s hands.

Shite Sports have these ‘reporters’ planted outside every clubs training ground trying to sniff out news with their trilby hats on their heads with a card poking out of the top with the word ‘Press’ written on it.
The stiff outside Hotspur Way is now a skeleton covered in cobwebs reminiscent of the skeleton in Rising Damp in one of Rigsbys lodgers rooms.
With a trilby hat on its skull and a card with ‘Press’ written on it poking out of the top.

        Just a loan.

        • Syd August 4, 2017 at 8:08 am

We can’t afford to loan out anybody but it probably enforces the issue of whether we are getting players in…we must be…right?

    • AccringtonSpurs August 4, 2017 at 7:32 am

I reckon Josh has been played in AM because Poch wants and needs his players to be able to play multiple positions. He’s got CM nailed, but to be useful to the squad he needs to be able to slot into the attacking positions, perhaps? Anyway, a loan would be very good for him and the team.

Looking increasingly like we’ll do a fair bit of business now.

Daniel is doing exactly the same thing as usual. His problem is that Poch has raised expectations and now the supporters demand more ambition

  • mikespurs August 4, 2017 at 1:03 am

Itk. Mikespurs who cant run, dribble, stand up, or shoot is being monitored by spurs. Its understood cinci fc is very keen on the back-up striker. His former coach from high school has stated “he wasnt the most talented but had the heart of a lion. He also cuts a great slice of bree”. Not a normal purchase for levy being older then the cheese he plans on serving. But when asked “we are looking to stregthen our squad, both on the field & in the cheese room”. Its understood that the asking price of 2 pence & a handy is a bit high. But mikespurs instagram seems to confirm hes keen on spurs & does infact cut a great slice of bree. When asked, mikespurs has been quoted, “i dont want to belong to any club that would have me as a member”. This could come down to the 12th hr but its understood that hes pochs 100000000000000 pick if no one else is alive.

    • Yeoyid August 4, 2017 at 5:14 am

Well it’s common knowledge mikespurs cuts a great bree but I think poch will adapt him and play him slicing a slither of Gorgonzola..it’s what we have been missing.
Levy will never pay 2p although the hand shandys a given I reckon.

When the ball is bouncing free he has spells, but no nose for the net. FCCincy’s principal striker can’t run, can’t dribble, dives constantly–but is always around the goal to scarf up a loose ball and put it in.

  • TheCincinnatiYid August 3, 2017 at 10:47 pm

Our second division team, FC Cincinnati, just made its way into the semis of the USA equivalent of the FA Cup. This in their second season of existence. Only second division team remaining, other three all first division MLS.

Secret of FCC’s infant and burgeoning success–owners are unafraid to purchase new players and upgrade the rolling stock. In last night’s 1-0 win over Miami FC, two of the starters had been acquired within the last fortnight from teams domestic and foreign. While I don’t share the all consuming hatred of DL of some, I find the open wallet policies of the Cincy owner much more reasonable–and a shitload more comforting than those of the balding meadow muffin we call the Chairman.

    • mikespurs August 3, 2017 at 10:51 pm

Congrats. Heard the crowd size for those games are crazy. 20,000 for second division is very impressive.

Second division Cinci? Does that mean the US leagues have promotion and relegation?

          • TheCincinnatiYid August 3, 2017 at 10:59 pm

Unfortunately, no. Relegation would be seen as communistic. In the capitalistic USA, the rich are only supposed to get richer, while the poor can always get poorer.

            • Caspurs♿️ August 3, 2017 at 11:03 pm

So lower league teams aren’t allowed to have any aspirations, bizarre.

            • mikespurs August 3, 2017 at 11:06 pm

I wouldnt go that far. After the nsl died, they realized european formula didnt work. So mls was run centrally by the league in order to make sure it survived. I remember them shipping players around to meet a citys fan base. With that said, the model is no longer needed & too many hands now just expect the payday. Hopefully sometime in the future reg/pro will be introduced. Doubt it

          • mikespurs August 3, 2017 at 10:59 pm

No. Mls teams are owed by the league. The link i posted explains better then i could. Its a bit weird

He does the odd thing, but you never feel he is at the heart of everything and dominates things. Well…Impeachment is a political decision by the House of Representatives…the basis for which must be something like high crimes and misdemeanors. So…the fact that a grand jury has been impaneled is not a good sign for Trump because the grand jury has subpoena power and can presumably acquire information/documents that Trump would not hand over voluntarily. Ultimately the answer to your question rests on whether there is evidence out there of wrongdoing. If so, yes, this event would suggest that impeachment is to some degreee more likely.

Trump will get a second term.

Never seen a fair and square democratically elected figure hounded with so much baseless nonsense! Yes he’s orange, yes he’s a misogynistic bastard, so what?

He’s been ‘going to be impeached next week’ since 20minutes after he was sworn in.

Don’t you think it’s terrifying though, that to buy a football team, you have to pass a fit and proper persons test, but you don’t have to to be the president of one of the most powerful countries in the world?

Has he broken ground on his wall yet? Personally I think that all politicians should be done for purjury if they are proven to be lying during their election campaign, or do not fulfil their electoral promises.

At least whack em in the stocks for a bit… maybe tattoo LIAR on their arsecheaks?

We’re stagnating/drifting backwards, hoping we offload Sh*tsoko, while the United Arab Emirates are reloading like crazy and Qatar just confirmed their blockbuster deal. Sigh.

Trabzonspor are sponsored by every kebab shop and 24 hour greengrocers money laundering shop (as well as besiktas and galatasaray) along green lanes and Wood Green high road.
So in effect he’s going nowhere!
