THFC Is Not For Sale – Despite this…

By The Boy -

This from today’s Sunday Times ‘Business and Money’ supplement (£).

A secretive American investment firm backed by Mark Zuckerberg is considering a £1bn bid for Tottenham Hotspur.

Iconiq Capital has held talks with a number of buyout firms about a possible bid for the north London club, which came second in the Premier League last season.

They were prepared to pay £882.6m but was rejected by Joe Lewis, the clubs billionaire owner. He is understood to be holding out for £2bn.

Several other parties have expressed an interest in buying Spurs in recent years, including the US investment company Cain Hoy”.

At the risk of being the bearer or bad news, ENIC won’t be selling anytime soon.

The £2billion suggested in the Times piece above is complete conjecture. Gladys knows and Gladys tells me that Levy has no motivation to leave whatsoever. I’m not entirely sure at this stage what is in the public domain and so I shall err on the side of caution here in respect of what’s shared.
