Mauricio Pochettino the current manager of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club,, has put the cat amongst the Client Reference Numbers by hinting that Harry Kane could be ready to face Chelsea on Sunday. The gaffer told the press:
“We need to assess him. He is very positive and he is doing very well. Every day he is improving. We need to assess in the next few days. It’s difficult now to say yes or no. I cannot say no, but I cannot say yes. Maybe next weekend. But the most important (thing) is that we are so positive about his recovery, and we are doing fantastic, and we are so happy.”
Kane wasn’t supposed to back in time for this game, the ankle ligament damage sustained against Bournemouth was thought to be severe enough to sideline the 24 year old for a good while yet.
Mind games from Poch? My guess is that Kane may start on the bench and be brought on if Spurs hit an impasse against Chelsea. Mauricio is a hesitant character when it comes to injuries, but one gets the distinct sense that when it comes to Kanehino, there my be room for latitude if enough assurances are given.
There are only one or two sides in the league that I wouldn’t put past giving Harry a courtesy whack, and Chelsea are most definitely one of them. He had better be match fit.
So he won’t be playing then.
We really need to be aiming for third in the league at least. I’m having nightmares about cheatski piping us to fourth, and the scummy goons winning the Europa league, therefore qualifying for the cl at our expense.
This could happen, it would only happen to us of course. So we need to beat the cheatski plastics.

Spurs to beat Chelsea 3-2 on Sunday (the day God created chocolate from what I can remember from my RE class)….
If..
Twas the day he Rose
Anyway, in real life life I am a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. 🤣😂
We could…
Son is due a pay rise soon as well I believe, so that could be another one…
We did all say this could happen….and it well might….
The New Destination will NOT pay bigger wages and I don’t believe it ever will with “my girl lollypop” in charge….
Get a word..
So MD wants a big transfer move as well now…Our not so younguns are looking for a big move so the shinny new stadium doesn’t really mater to them, does it…..so thats Toby, Mouse, Deli & Eriksen next and then that only leaves Kane really, as Hugo is now shit..
in. : )
But the most important (thing) is that we are so positive about his recovery, and we are doing fantastic, and we are so happy.”
I only wish he would quit this ‘we are so happy’ bollox.
I wish he would be saying that about the players and their wages/contracts!
I couldn’t give a flying f*ck what he says so long as we keep performing where it matters — on the pitch.
He’s so happy and I am so calm.
This is futbol, no?
Beri beri happy
This is a must win game …
… for Chelsea. We can afford to lose it (obviously I’d much rather we didn’t) but even if we did we’d still have the upper hand.
Fuck the “we haven’t won there in living memory” bollocks. We let that get into our heads and there will only be one outcome.
A draw would not be the worst result in the world. Seven games to go and a five point advantage? That’d do for me.
I’ll take a draw now, but a win (scoring in injury time to really pissum orf) would be nice.
A win (for us) would pretty much end their top-four chances for sure.
I could live with that.
Agree with that Taff.
Depends on how old you are,I was there in 78,nice 1-3 win for us
“Mauricio Pochettino the Current manager of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club”, you say this like we have a revolving door H…..oh yes, we did, did’nt we!
Hate the idea of Harry being rushed back, leave him on the bench and lets give our Son a chance to carry on impressing.
I liked the way we played against Swansea, having Lamela, Son and Moura buzzing around their box, with Eriksen pulling the strings.
Yep,nice to see a bit of forward competition.
Would like to see the Son-shine on sunday and do that lot!
I’d leave him on the bench. Make beating the rascists even more humiliating for them.
“I’d leave him on the bench”
Which park?
Linkin.
Linda, if you please.
She clearly speaks your language, eh eh…
Start with the 433 we played against Bournemouth I say.
Maybe even swap Dele for Moura if he isn’t fit
To obvious that’s what they’ll be expecting, we should go with a 2-1-3-1-1-2 formation, if we can’t work it out, they never will!
Would love to see him out their, but he needs to be fully fit! It could get brutal in the tackle and Cheatski would only love to do him! That being said, he will probably be on the bench as you said H!
Not worth rushing him back for this game if he’s not ready, a bit more rest and he should be good for rest of the season.
Boom MkII, double avvit!
You still stuck on M25 ?Hope you had some clean pants with you.
Yep, I’ve gone ferrel.
Clean. Just not his.
You know him too well !
Me, stolen underwear?! Sounds more like r’Andy’s modus operandi…
Nah not me, I always go commando 🤗.
