There’s no merit in rooting around in the England cadaver.

You don’t need an autopsy to tell you where the team was light.

It doesn’t get much lighter than Dele Alli, Raheem Sterling and Jessie Lingard.

Criminal is not too strong a word to describe the service that Harry Kane received.

One of the world’s most voracious goal-scorers of our era and he was left feeding on left-overs.

The greatest Englishman in this year’s tournament was Kieran Trippier.

His talent, mentality and work rate were nothing shy of extraordinary.

More please.

Its a strange one is modern football…a lot of fans treat it like watching a pop band….Yes I enjoy the ride, but I want that ride to have meaning and hope and when we fail I’m cheesed off and make it clear…that doesn’t stop me being a fan or loving my team…I’m not interested in this 3rd place bollocks, all it does it prolong half the Spurs squad from coming back….we don’t act like the club we claim to be in the transfer market and by the recent itk for Grealish theres even complications getting a wannabe 15m Championship player over the line…seriously!!…

Juv just signed one of the biggest players in world football..ever “during” the World Cup…just done it..bang, done…..but 15-20m shit players, no its complicated governor, honestly….

      Ah Grealish.

      The white Onomah.

      I cannot wait.

Fun fun fun i the only one who thinks this world cup has royally fucked Spurs in the face for the 2018/19 season? And it’s not over yet. The gift that keeps on giving and Levy’s go to excuse for the coming months

Thought you may find it funny – there was a comment on the BBC website saying something similar to “its coming home is talking about the pride and passion for England, not the trophy…” (or something similar) didn’t state he was a Spurs fan, but sounds very much like a flat earth policy.

    • Harry Hotspur July 12, 2018 at 9:39 am

      Yes this sounds superb.

Who needs trophies when you can hold your head high, eh?

Funny you never get this swivel eyed lunacy applied in any other sport, by any other fans.

It’s was always wheeled out that this World Cup was building for 2022 and another 4 year plan….. oh crap I fell for that line again

    • Paddio July 12, 2018 at 10:02 am

We’ve over performed with the resources we have and can’t do things other squads have….. bloody hell done it to myself again
