The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust will vote against the re-appointment of chairman Sir Chips Keswick and Josh Kroenke to the board of directors at Thursday’s annual general meeting in a bid to show “significant corporate governance change is needed”.

The Premier League club will host shareholders at the Emirates Stadium, where Stan Kroenke – who holds a 67 per cent stake – has been urged to outline his future vision.

As part of each AGM, a one third of the directors must retire on rotation from their position and seek re-election. Despite opposition from the AST, chairman Keswick and Josh Kroenke, son of the American owner, are highly unlikely not to be re-appointed to the board.

Nevertheless, the AST believes opposition to carrying the motion unanimously will at least provide an opportunity to air their grievances.

“Our action and vote is a statement that we believe significant corporate governance change is needed. Whatever the outcome of Thursday’s AGM, we call upon the directors at Arsenal to address these significant corporate governance failings,” the AST said in a statement on Wednesday.

“All of the non-executive directors have been in office for far too long and are not regarded as independent under the corporate governance code.

When I bought the stranger early in the 70’s I thought it was the next stage of music. It was Jazz influenced I think.Quality stuff. I never bought an album after that of his but I loved his songs. Allentown and Goodnight Saigon were anthems…loved River of Dreams and so many more songs. But on XM radio his channel he explains the structure of each song he wrote and why. The influences, from Classical,Hendricks, many influences but with that he got it right as he put his soul into the music no matter what structure.

He was going to do a concert there and didnt know what he was in for being a teenager when the Cuban Missile crisis was on and Russia was an adversary but when he got there, the main guy that helped him worked for the Moscow Circus and he helped him aa lot and saw him as a good freind and in the song he says that he made his daughter laugh.
Its a brilliant anthem type song. He wrote so many great songs. Genius does have another side

Some of them have to. By definition. Part of the enjoyment, for me, of watching the occasional youth game is trying to spot which ones have a chance. On the evidence of that second half City’s Phil Foden definitely looks a player worth keeping an eye on. As does their centre half.

Not to say they will make it, but both certainly look like they have a better than average chance.
