Terms Agreed With Player But Levy Being Played At His Own Game

By The Boy -

Spurs are very keen to sign Bournemouth’s Josh King.

At the back end if May, Gladys said: ‘On the way in could well be Josh King. The Bournemouth boy would be a perfect fit. He knows the Premier League and operates as a secondary striker.’

The update here is that the boy has agreed terms, but Bournemouth are demanding the most ferocious sums.

Are Bournemouth bad people? No, they are simply hoisting Levy with his own petard and swimming with the same ‘let’s go crazy’ prices that everyone else is.

Josh Onomah – on a level playing-field – would probably ‘walk into’ very few Premier League starting XIs. Would that stop Levy demanding £20million for him? Of course not.

But hey, sit back and enjoy the ride – this window’s gonna be easy – like childbirth.
