Home » Team For Watford

Good morning and welcome to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club’s twenty fifth season defining game of the season. It’s only half a dozen or so Premier League games since we played this lot at Vicarage Road so one doesn’t need to employ the services of Tony Robinson’s Time Team to unearth decent form.

That game ended 1-2 to the mighty Spurs and almost interestingly enough, it was Watford who were feeling quite pleased with themselves that fateful day, having recently beaten Liverpool. Almost interesting as it was Norwich that were licking their lip at the news of our arrival last week, after having scored four times against Liverpool in their previous game.

So we start paragraph three with making the mental note *Liverpool don’t live up to their reputation*.

Glancing at the BBC report of that game, those worried about Kane getting injured might chasing the wrong ambulance. There’s a greater likelihood of the poor bloke having some sort of seizure. The map on the left the touch map of Watford’s striker Ighalo, and to the right, our man Kane.

Justification were it needed for the old ‘He’s here, he’s there, he’s every fakin where, Harry Kane’ to be wheeled out immediately.

So who will play?

Here are my picks.

Prediction?

This is yet another one of those games where we will can reveal ourselves to merely pretenders to to the throne, should we do anything but win.

I believe we will win and that Watford have done nothing exceptional since our last meeting to suggest that they are now placed to beat us away.

2-0 feels about right.
