a D Cup.
The Football Association has apologised to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Manchester United Football Club after the official FA Cup Twitter account posted a joke mocking Harry Kane’s performance against Chris Smalling in the semi-final at Wembley on Saturday.
The tweet, which was later deleted, read: “What’s that in your pocket Chris?” and linked to an obviously unrelated video of the Manchester United defender saying “Harry Kane”.
“We have written to both clubs to apologise for any offence caused,” said an FA spokesman.
Yes, one can only imagine that…
So in the wake of one stupid piece of PR from Spurs, namely Harry Kane being allowed to hound the FA for a goal that frankly was someone else’s work, we then have Mauricio Botchettino debasing the FA cup before our valiant lads had even a chance to kick a ball in anger, swiftly followed by Tottenham snarling that they want an apology over a Tweet.
This is Spurs tripling down.
Daftness upon daftness upon daftness.
I’m waiting to hear the news that a some disabled fan is having their season ticket suspended because their stick was partially obstructing a stairway.
C’mon Donna Cullen, push on and give us all a Top Four of self inflicted fiascos!
