Representatives including club president Muharrem Usta had apparently been sent to England previously to hold transfer negotiations, and made an agreement on what have been described by the Turkish as “lease negotiations” with Levy.

A loan is better than nothing, but this is yet another money losing exercise if the Turks aren’t paying all of the 27 year old’s wages. At least this deal hasn’t gone the same way as the Adebayor one, where Levy had to pay the remainder of the Togoan’s contract.
