Spurs Make £20M Bid On £30M Rated Player

By The Boy -

Good luck to Daniel Levy trying to negotiate with this transfer window’s clock running down and the going holes in his squad having been extensively publicised over the past six weeks.

There’s a gulf of difference between Poch repeatedly telling journalists that he’s calm and trying to act cool and relaxed when bartering for something that everybody knows that you desperately need.

The Mirror say that this Davison Sanchez deal is underway and that Levy’s kicked off with an opening offer of £20million.

For anyone who’s been living up a tree with no wifi, the player hasn’t been with Ajax very long and they reportedly only paid £5million for him. This won’t have any bearing on Sanchez’ current value Spurs might have their work cut out trying to convince the Dutch that they need to lower their expectations by a third.

Davinson is apparently doing the old ‘my head’s been turned’ sketch and isn’t training, playing or joining in with anything Ajax shaped.

One point made by the Mirror that I’ve not seen elsewhere is that this kid can despite being a centre back can apparently also play right back.

Hmmmn.
