The LGBT section of our support (yes it’s a recognised actual thing) is up in arms over the use of the ‘Chelsea Rent Boy’ chant.
Apparently it’s discriminatory. Or at least that is what they would like you to believe.
It actual fact, it’s simply descriptive. Or at least it is a phrase used to mock and demean male Chelsea fans by suggesting they engage with other men in a sex for money type deal.
Referencing homosexual sex in this manner is no more discriminatory than saying ‘I see your mum is still on the game’. Unless of course mocking a woman charging men for sex is not just an assault on a lady’s virtue but now deemed primarily an assault on her heterosexuality.
Which of course, makes no sense at all.
Industrial and uncouth, but otherwise there is nothing to see here.
Another reminder – not that one was required – that where fans choose to hide their salami has no place whatsoever at a football match.
Some people are so neurotic they can’t even leave their bloody house without waving a flag to let everyone know.
