Spurs kits made by Muslim slave labour in China? Nike yet to comment

By The Boy -

Education camps, that’s what they call ’em, but that’s a far cry from the deluxe shopping malls of the West were customers paw at luxury goods designed to enhance their lifestyles.

One corporation would be too many, but a new report names no less than 83 big brands that are either work directly with factories or source materials from factories, run by slave labour.

Don’t mistake this for some rogue cottage industry. The Daily Sabah talks of “tens of thousands” of Muslims proving labour for household names such as Apple, BMW, Gap, Huawei, Nike, Samsung, Sony and Volkswagen.

It is believed by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute that 27 factories exist across 9 provinces, all run by some 80,0000 modern day slaves who are thought to be Uighurs, from Xinjiang, a region they are prevented from returning to, courtesy of electronic tagging.

Nike who manufacture Spurs’ kits and training wear were asked for a comment on Monday and had yet to reply.

It might be an idea if ALL football clubs pressed ALL their suppliers in order to find out who is actually producing goods supplied to them.

SUGGESTED ADDITIONAL READING Uyghurs for sale: ‘Re-education’, forced labour and surveillance beyond Xinjiang.

Very interesting article. Not seen this on the BBC, then again I’ve somewhat given up on the beeb as it appears to have largely become a Corona human interest monoculture.

The run overheating” I used to (from the pool) let the wire run about 10 to 12mil a head then bring it back to the pool giving the pool time to cool down a bit (top tip🌚

Mig mostly for me, pool collapsing at the end of a run as it overheats, undercut, a struggle alright. Hate the stuff, don’t see it much actually these days.

Hell yes, delaminating while rolling it (Beams) or crushing instead of bending or rolling (pipe) You weld it and it shrinks like mad, dirty muck it is for sure.
