Spurs Form To Dip In 39 Days

Poch said: “Not only Dele but everyone needs to know every day they must improve. They need that in their head ‘I can improve, I can improve, I can improve’.

The moment you stop thinking you can improve, your levels go down.

Dele has only been here 18 months in the Premier League. He is very young and can improve all the aspects of his game. His quality now is enough to be one of the best in the Premier League. But every day, he needs to push and work hard to keep it.”

If you back to what happened after Manchester City, it started before then. We had many problems in the same period. We had injuries to Son, Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Moussa Dembele. It was a key period for us in the Champions League and Premier League.

We were in a position that was difficult to cope because we were missing the chance to rotate to keep our levels high. We were missing players. That was very back luck.

We struggled to cope in different games in different competitions during that busy period.”

What I want to know is, when Tottenham join the UEFA Europa League’s Round of 32 on the 16th of February, what’s the plan?

I’ve lost track of how many times you can clearly see the negative effect this competition has on our league form. Or would it be easier to say, ‘our form dives every time’?

Why do I mention this now? Well, I’m making a conscious effort not to row along with the frankly mindless narrative which essentially says, ‘well it’s tough at the top’.

Let’s not allow ourselves to wander – yet again – into the same scenario for the umpteenth time were we unthinkingly mumble up the usual dumb excuses.

What particularly boils my piss with Levy is that we don’t have a football strategy in place.

Having the lowest net spend in Europe and the most lucrative tyre partnership since someone at Pirelli said ‘What about some nudie ladies on a calendar?!’ tells you all you need to know about where the priorities lie.

Is it really so terribly dissenting to ask what the plan is?

Especially given that THFC are insisting upon perpetuating the outright lie that we need to play at Wembley.

Oh hang on, I’ve got it!

Apologies for boring you all. We’re going to flog seats at a fiver.

Case closed. Noting to see here, go back to your homes.
