The Liverpool Echo have been busy bees this morning. Which is no surprise from a city that seems to start somewhat earlier than London. fingers crossed that non of their journalists were in an early house enjoying some karaoke with their breakfast pint.
It could be that just two teams will be worth watching at the death of this window. Spurs and Everton. What joy.
Swansea City – quite rightly – are holding out for maximum moolah for Siggy and the number is thought to be as big as £50million. Using the Bonzo Metric™ this is not expensive. We are where we are and the prices have gone nut-so.
Inevitably the drawn out whole Barkely thing has almost defacto invited other interested parties in. Arsenal are said to be ‘monitoring’ the situation and I would once more labour that the money quoted here is £25million. That number is from the Evening Standard.
The Echo say that L’Equipe are suggesting that Sissoko could be loaned to Everton next term. I can’t find a link so maybe someone in Merseyside is reading the actual foldy foley paper version.
