Rose Interview 2 Weeks Old, Levy Detached From Reality, Poch Worried

By The Boy -

The Danny Rose interview in The Sun is a fortnight old and took place in the presence of his agent.

Despite suggestions to the contrary, neither Manchester City or Manchester United have even made enquiries for the player. This has in fact pushed Rose to make his willingness to be paid more public. After Bonzo got his ticket out of Spurs, he felt as if he was being looked over.

Tottenham acknowledge that relations with Chelsea are considerably improved from the low ebb they were once at. Danny Rose has burned his bridges at THFC and he will be sold.

Nobody at Spurs were aware of this dynamite interview and Gladys describes the atmosphere as post nuclear.

Levy’s manner has been described as detached. Perhaps he is all too well aware that when a player wants out there is nothing to be negotiated. Or perhaps he lacks the people skills to make a player feel genuinely valued.

Pochettino, the man who has unsurprisingly been reeling out this line about him being ‘calm’ – because it is the precise opposite of how he feels.

The departure of Walker had a damaging effect on him personally and the team. Danny Rose opening his heart to The Sun has caused a complete meltdown.

Again, the timing is appalling but Rose feels as if his hand has been forced.

Poch apparently referred him to Levy and Levy referred him to his contract and a scale model of the stadium.

A stadium that Walker, Rose and several others don’t actually give a damn about.
