Premier League Boss On Poch “No disrespect to Tottenham but I think he’ll go onto higher things.”

By The Boy -

I like Neil Warnock.

I fear for the whereabouts of his eyebrows of course, but he’s fundamentally a decent football man.

Warnock’s at Cardiff City these days, under the watchful eye of soccer ball supremo Vincent Tan.

Pre match pressers from opposition managers rarely provide all that much insight, but this gives you a sense of who we’re up against, if that sort of thing interests you. The city boss said of Mauricio:

“I think he’s super, he’s a lovely guy. I’ve always done quite well against him actually. You get criticised at the top of the league differently to us. They should have beaten Inter Milan, they played so well and they ended up losing. They’re a really good exciting team and with the English lads they’ve got we should be proud of Poch for giving them an opportunity. No disrespect to Tottenham but I think he’ll go onto higher things.”

7 games in, and the Bluebirds have just 2 Premier League points from two draws to their name.

There’s certainly no excuse for this afternoon being a dull affair.
