Home » Poch Confirms It

Mauricio Pochettio has gone public on who’s for sale.

“The situation of three players (Fazio, Bentaleb, Pritchard) is very clear. They are not in my plans”

Speaking in Melbourne – which is in Australia – the gaffer has made it perfectly clear that Frederico Fazio, Nabil Bentaleb and Alex Pritchard are surplus to requirements.

What is curious though, is that he’s had to do this, or at least – felt that he’s had to do this.

It’s now clear that Glad’s take on Benatleb’s lack of suitors was correct. The phone hasn’t rung.

Worse yet, the boy could well be so disenfranchised, that he’s doing a Benny and is determined to sit and watch his contract wind down, without kicking a ball.

Fazio’s position is grim, he’s unsellable and worse, now suddenly of questionable value. Even Seville aren’t interested.

Pritchard will have his pick of the lower leagues.

Meanwhile, those of us sat at the Grown Ups table are left wondering how the current squad are going to live up to their ‘top four’ status next season.

Perhaps we will also sell Chadli and Son? Perhaps we’ll spend a fragment of the eye watering TV money and add some flair to the mix?

Or perhaps Poch will doggedly continue with his insane belief that if everyone can run at full tilt 95 minutes, then we’ll probably be alright.
