Plausible XI vs City

By The Boy -

Manchester City at Wembley.

There was a time when someone said that and I would get an incredibly silly smile on my face and feel quite fuzzy inside.

If you know what these words mean…

Of course this is a reference to the DARK OLD DAYS when Spurs were not just a cup side, but an outfit that put on the style more often than not.

I’d advice against allowing Glenn Hoddle’s incapacitation to prompt you onto YouTube, you may come away depressed.

In those days the manager flew halfway around the world to snap up World Cup winners – because he wanted to win trophies.

I digress, because unlike some of the miscreants that click on here, I support something called ‘the football club’ and am not an apologist for a net spend maniac, who happens to currently own the marketing rights.

Pochettino’s interview with the Guardian was probably provoked by having to pour over his squad, trying to work out how to minimise the damage.

City are in great form as verified by their +23 goal difference.

Tottenham’s is +9 and virtually all of them scored as if they were teeth pulled by some whacky dentist in and old spaghetti western.

My starting XI would be Gazzaniga, Aurier Sanchez, Alderweireld, Rose, Lamela, Dier, Winks, Eriksen, Llorente and Kane, however I think Poch will opt for the chalkboard below.

I hope that his Mood is better after tonights encounter David. Anyone with a modicum of sense could see that there was something amiss at the Club, what did we expect with Dan The Fuckwit at the helm ?
