The Premier League is back and the first game on today’s card is the Car Alarm Derby on Merseyside.
Everton could gazump Man Utd and go 5th, however Liverpool can’t pip us if they win, due to inferior goal difference. Liverpool are strong favourites but I fancy a 1-1 draw at 8/1.
Our valiant boys travel to Burnley who haven’t won a game in their last six attempts. I predict a 0-2 win and that’s around 13/2.
Chelsea look set to beat Crystal Palace. The Champions Elect are 1/3 to win and the Eagles are 10/1 to take all 3 points.
Man Utd host West Brom which looks like a home win, but can the Baggies recapture the ‘scintillating’ form that saw them duff up Arsenal by 3 goals to 1 before the Interlull.
Arguably the most interesting game is tomorrow at 4pm when Arsenal entertain Man City. Arsenal TV really ought to consider going PPV.
