Home » No Stadium Sponsor

Good morning voters.

Some curious ITK from Gladys this morning.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have not yet secured a stadium sponsor.

The images below are from a corporate brochure that was being whored around numerous London based Blue Chip businesses …very recently.

Glad was told that only the top very flight companies were approached and this particular energy company we one of many that received the old ‘come hither’ from Spurs.

What wider conclusions might we draw?

Well, Glad’s previous intel that Daniel took a dump on the NFL’s table was confirmed by two radically independent and trustworthy sources…

Could it be that this indicates that the NFL/Nike boys were incensed that a magic bullet, one sponsor fits all solution couldn’t be agreed – because Levy wanted to flog off all the deals in bits and pieces in order to maximise the profitability?

Why sell a Nike the whole shebang, when you can get more by only allowing them to buy a kit/technical partnership license?

On a spreadsheet, this makes good sense.

In reality, it’s petty, disharmonious and lots of other things that make you want to slowly shake your head in despair.

Indeed, it was suggest a while back by Gladys that Uncle Joe was plotting a legacy whereby he covered the stadium bill and the ground stayed as ‘White Hart Lane’.

The knock on effect here though, is that Danny boy would have to concede points in the business.

So is this brochure evidence that our beloved chairman is as usual, trying to squeeze the pips out of the situation?

It’s evidence enough.
