Nike ITK: It’s Spurs Or Chelsea For Arsenal Ace

Nike ITK: It’s Spurs Or Chelsea For Arsenal Ace

This is interesting to put it mildly. Old Gladys may have excelled herself.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on his way out of Arsenal, or at least his agent has been busy for some time working on an exit strategy to that end.

The 23 year old didn’t need the other night’s Champions League drubbing to make him wonder if he was at the right club. Glad believes that there might be one or two more Woolwich names linked with pastures new.

Nike could well be the catalyst in any transfer for the boy.

The swooshing kit-makers to the stars are looking to tie up as many Spurs players as possible before our lads are in their shirts at Wembley.

Right now, Nike areΒ pulling out all the stops to sign Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele.

The deal with the Ox is pretty straightforward. Nike would step into negotiations by providing an element ofΒ funding with respect toΒ the transfer fee/wages, much as Adidas did with Pogba at Manchester United.

I’d take the Ox in a heartbeat.

But which club might Nike prefer for their latest poster boy?

I found the game between PSG and Barca an absolute joke. There was that much diving all over the paddock by both teams it was ridiculous but in the end I was really hoping Barca would lose because of the cheating of Suarez. The referee’s are farcical and something needs to be done otherwise it’ll be the best at acting that wins

    • donkey March 10, 2017 at 9:46 am

you wanted Barca to lose? You obviously didn’t have a tenner on them winning then :-)))))))

  • Urbane Sturgeon March 9, 2017 at 7:43 pm

Never quite bin convinced by Ox Chambermaid; I suspect inconsistency & attitude issues from his overall lack of involvement at Arse. Not sure I see an improvement on our current lot.

  • LD March 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm

Id take AOC in a heartbeat

  • Digiyid March 9, 2017 at 6:04 pm

He won’t be joining Man City it’s Not a NIKE sponsored club unlike both Spurs and Chelsea soon will be. Bayern are Nikes enemy territory it’s Adidas heartland

    • Mee23 March 9, 2017 at 6:11 pm

Man City have no need of sponsors money or permission; many players play in their own fav brand boots and repaint them to look like the club sponsors. AOC will be a city player next season, if they can prise him away from the arse.

      • Digiyid March 9, 2017 at 6:17 pm

He won’t be ..You will see…If he joins Spurs it will not one bit surprise anyone..We are due for a player in return on a certain cunt joined them 16 years ago..

    Blog new.

  • Gloster1861 March 9, 2017 at 3:51 pm

In case some of you are blind, here are the ‘penalties’ that were given and the genuine one for PSG that was waved away.

    http://www.punditarena.com/football/jmurphy/no-replays-shown-blatant-mascherano-vs-di-maria-penalty-incident/

Actual score should have been Barca 4 PSG 2. PSG through 6-4 on aggregate.

    • Gloster1861 March 9, 2017 at 3:53 pm

Oh, and Suarez off for two yellows for diving would be fair.

      • Syd March 9, 2017 at 11:04 pm

Suarez does not even know which part of his body to grab when he goes flying to the ground. one penalty shout he tried when he fell to the floor and grabbed his head, right side of his face, his neck and shoulder all in the one dive, when he was only slightly touched on his hair. I seriously hate that cheating can’t.

    • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? March 9, 2017 at 3:55 pm

Suarez is a rat cheat and that match was a disgrace to football.

      • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? March 9, 2017 at 3:59 pm

All brought to us by BT sports. Inside traders extrordinaire and their compulsive gambler pundit micheal owen.Steven Gerrard trying to convince everyone that their goalie didn’t have a prayer with neymars free kick.?!

        • Gloster1861 March 9, 2017 at 4:05 pm

Well of course the miracle in Istanbul , Dudek constantly moved about off his line during the penalties. The AC keeper actually did not lift his feet off the ground as per the rules. More cheats.

          • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? March 9, 2017 at 4:08 pm

            Yeah. And shevchenkos pen was….well….soft….

      • Gloster1861 March 9, 2017 at 3:59 pm

Yes, and yet the pundits seem totally swept away with the nonsense we saw yesterday. I can imagine the Spanish commentators going nuts, but ours?

        • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? March 9, 2017 at 4:01 pm

Their on the payrole. That’s why Howard Webb is BT ‘s ‘resident ref’ so he can explain away all the corrupt decisions to everyone.

  • Lilywhite March 9, 2017 at 3:50 pm

I rate him. He should play for England too.

  • Gloster1861 March 9, 2017 at 3:38 pm

No Suarez dive, no miracle. Not only did PSG fold under the pressure, so did the referee.

Another episode of disgrace, not glory.

  • Gloster1861 March 9, 2017 at 3:35 pm

Agree with Mee23. Pep has stated he wants English players in the summer. Ox will be off to Citeh to join Sterling.

  • Mee23 March 9, 2017 at 3:31 pm

Glady’s is very wrong on this one, if he does leave then as far as English clubs are concerned he’ll be joining Manchester City; Pep wanted him at BM after the arse had drawn 1-1 there and he was hugely impressed with him, when he came to ManC, Pep put him on the English players list, a couple of which we know contains Spurs players. Man City have been tapping up, even facilitating his move to DF-sportmanagement GMBH last year.

  • Panama Paul March 9, 2017 at 2:34 pm

Are you saying you approve of our Dele’s embarrassing diving antics cos he plays for Spurs and is a propa gangsta? Admittedly MSG are to blame for their comical defending costing them the tie but I cannot condone blatant cheating that changes the course of a match. UEFA were probably crapping themselves at the prospect of Barca going out at home on the away goals rule that I suspect extra time would have continued until Barca scored the 6th goal.

      Reply to Ron below

    • Ronwol196061πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ March 9, 2017 at 2:42 pm

I am not so anti Suarez but I don’t respect that in him and ditto Dele Alli.
We respect artists that are geniuses but crazy fucks. They bring something special to the table. There is always a negative with brilliance. I’ll take it with Dele as long as he keeps the production up.
For me people think Eriksen is great. But to be great you have to stick your neck out and learn from your mistakes. Take that chance.
Dele Alli does that. I hope he controls the negative and hope that it doesn’t control him

    • Ronwol196061πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ March 9, 2017 at 2:52 pm

      Were you shocked?
I wasn’t. BarΓ§a is the best team, one of anyway, in the world.
Suarez diving etc was not the game.

      MSG? Hmmm. Chinese tonight.

  • Salt in the Wound March 9, 2017 at 2:33 pm

It won’t be the lilywhites. Gallas was a great crossover to the light side, and that wasn’t controversial, he had nothing to prove and he was a great addition, but Ox-Chamb will go Blue.

    • Harry Hotspur March 9, 2017 at 2:46 pm

      Blue with money.

  • Ronwol196061πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ March 9, 2017 at 2:28 pm

You’ve got to like the fight of BarΓ§a, Suarez diving or not.
I don’t give a fuck who is playing for us only that they fight to win.

    • Ronwol196061πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ March 9, 2017 at 2:31 pm

I do think that Poch feels the same. He just has to get them fighting every game, every minute of every game. Fuck the names.

  • Panama Paul March 9, 2017 at 2:22 pm

The Ox and Cart at the Lane? Unlikely in my view, with or without Nike’s influence. As he’s a gooner I don’t think he’d view Spurs as a step up. Chavs are more likely destination as homegrown is thin on the ground, so he’d be useful to them in that respect. Think his medical history is longer than his playing history. One Sick Note was enough (oh yeah, we’ve already got Lamela reprising that role).

Robertson . One of my favourite players. He became anemic and we got rid of him only for him to find success with the Arse.
            Good talented winger

              😊

  • VincentianMagic March 9, 2017 at 1:53 pm

Sessegnon, Klassen, Haller, Barkley, Schar, Tielemans are all players I’d like above Ox.

Not saying he’s a bad player, but I can’t see him leaving to join us over Chelsea. Think there’s more to come from the lad, but he doesn’t score or create enough, has had some injury issues and would be overpriced (being English and all that).

  • Camus March 9, 2017 at 1:49 pm

I wouldn’t kick up a fuss if we signed the Ox. Has always looked a talent but I have a few question marks over his injury record. I haven’t looked into it but my impression (possibly wrong) has always been that he misses half the season every season because he’s injury-prone… Possibly a super-eager kid who loves the game but over-stretches into a tackle and ‘ping’ – there’s the hamstring gone again – or goes into a do-or-die tackle he doesn’t need to make and ‘crunch’ – he’s out for 4 months.

If Poch can keep him fit, I’d take him.

However… If Nike want a new English poster boy, and if Conte wants to up his English quota, I can only see one destination (obviously he’ll never play there though.)
Also, are we really any bigger a draw than the Goons who have won a couple of trophies lately?

Last point:- I really think there is a massive over-reaction at large about the current predicament of the Goons. They’ve gone out of the CL against a team they were never going to beat over 2 legs anyway. They’re still well in the top 4 race. Talk of a crisis is very over-stated.

Ox was one of the most promising young players for years. He could of been anything but Wenger ruined him. Pissing him about, different positions, not picking him, plus the dodgy arsenal fitness regime. His development was totally hamstrung. Poch could get him on track. As for last night. I’ve seen it all now. Top flight football has turned into American wrestling. That barca match was the most clearly are predetermined thing I’ve ever seen. The officiating alone was unreal let alone PSG’s finishing. God help us all.
