Mundane Quotes I Don’t Mind

By The Boy -

Wanyama said: “Mauricio has improved my game in all aspects; everything. It’s not just football, in life as well I’ve learned a lot of things. He’s been able to teach me a lot inside and outside football, how to live with people, how to be humble.”

“I’d played against Spurs a few times and they were a hard team to beat. The manager started improving the team and I felt this was a club going somewhere.

“I looked at where the club was heading and with the manager, I knew I couldn’t go wrong. I know he builds for the future and wants to fight for everything. I couldn’t resist that.”

Normally this incessant drip drip of well meaning stuff only serves to irritate, but Victor has been the standout player of the season.

Even in with a squad with less depth than a Kardashian, Wanyama’s name has to be Poch’s first on every team sheet.

He’s smart, he’s committed and rarely delivers anything less than 100%.

I remain unconvinced about the ‘fighting for everything’ spiel and the going places business, that’s continuously in doubt due it an inherent unwillingness to invest in quality.

Wanyama is as important as Aldweireld or Kane.
