More Life In A Tramp’s Vest

By The Boy -

Apparently we’re participating in a thing by the name of  the ‘International Champions Cup’.

Hurrah!

The ‘Peace Cup’ just had it’s trousers pulled down in front of the class.

Pochettino is in Melbourne (which is Australia) ahead of tomorrow’s friendly against Atletico Madrid.

The loose lipped Argentinian love machine just told the press:

I expect some signings in the next few weeks. We’ll see what happens. We expect some activity, yes.

Finger’s crossed that this ‘activity’ is a darn sight more adventurous than Clinton Cards 2.0 and the boy Jenssen.

Has a football club ever been quite so haunted, quite so taunted at by it’s latin motto?

Under Keith Burkinshaw we plucked the rather lovely Steve Archibald from Aberdeen.

The signing of Ardiles and Villa felt positively surreal – man alive – they had just won the World Cup!

What Spurs used to do (over 15 years ago) was buy in order to win stuff.  The FA Cup twice. An FA Community Shield winner and a UEFA Cup.
