Another brutal slaying at the hands of Pochman The Barbarian.

Mauricio is very much having it his own way on a run of soft opponents that will end abruptly next weekend.

Before we get to that, let’s look at the hay that’s been made while the sun has been shinning. 4 goals past Bournemouth, 4 goals past Watford, Swansea (eventually) hammered, Burnley beaten.

This Spurs side has had goals coming out of every orifice this term.

Stoke were beaten 4-0. West Brom was another 4-0. We put 6 past Southampton, home and away and scored 8 in total against Swansea.

In the cups Millwall had 6 put past them and Fulham conceded 3, oh and wasn’t it 5-0 against Gillingham?

Goal upon goal upon goal.

Bournemouth were puzzling to behold. In the respect that they turned up seemingly unaware of the potential pitfalls of playing Spurs and seemed to think this was some sort of pre-season friendly.

There response to every goal was the same and they were lucky the ref brought matters to an end when he did as Tottenham looked like they could have carried on banging them in through the night.

Poch stuck to his guns (perhaps because it was Bournemouth) and retained the 4231 malarky. Which seemed to put and end to Trippier’s chances of continuing his good works, also Dier was preferred to the more interesting Wanyama.

I pray to whoever’s listening this isn’t how we shape up against the Blue Racists. Dier’s a nice boy but he’s too ponderous.

In respect of Bonzo, I want to beat Chelsea, not give them a helping hand. Trippier please.

Against Bournemouth …and Hugo wasn’t truly called upon and he resisted the urge to dabble in any self-inflicted chaos.

Toby/Verts ticked over gently like a pair of gently ticking things.

Davies wasn’t great. Not awful. Not great.

Mousa. Farewell trundling trundler, hello Mighty Mous(a)! Dozens of forward passes. The old boy really did blitz the Cherries.

If Eriksen can replicate this performance against the Blue Racists next week then we will win.

Dele delivered the usual Alli pizza. Didn’t score and therefore was ‘alright’.

Son had a bit of a stormer. Amazing what you can pick up at the Post Office.

Kane‘s second appearance after injury, Kane’s second most intelligent game contributions after injury.

Vinny – what a beauty.
