Man United Already £19.6M In The Hole Before Offering Levy A Pound

By The Boy -

Good news for Spurs fans concerned that Mauricio Pochettino’s goodness is well and truly no longer, ‘under the radar’.

Last night’s emphatic win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League only added to the argument that Pochettino is fully fledged miracle worker – and should be shipped into Old Trafford asap.

Signings? We don’t need no stinking signings!Injuries? We smirk in the face of injuries!

Manchester United may be expecting a colossal revenue of up to £630M after the release of their financials for the last two quarters, but money is money and United are out of pocket the tune of nearly £20million after having paid off Jose Mourinho and his backroom staff.

A statement from the club read:

“Exceptional items for the quarter were £19.6 million, relating to compensation to the former manager and certain members of the coaching staff for loss of office. Exceptional items for the prior year quarter were £nil.”

Surely this has to have some class of impact upon the Red Devils’ budgets? Surely all clubs that aren’t Spurs, really run like cathouses in the wild west?

Or am I still high from last night’s win?

Back Chelsea to draw in Europe tonight

Absolute tosh mate, I don’t know why people here have such a problem with Sissoko (perhaps they just have a problem?) Sissoko is a vital cog in our machinery, he’s our box to box midfielder and Poch relies on him to take the ball forward into the opponents half at pace and open up their backline to our attacking players. He bypasses their midfield with one run and is very much part of our team. When Moussa was injured recently the team looked bereft of a ball carrier, and that’s what Sissoko brings. He’s big and strong and very capable of keeping the ball.
The problem is that there are too many armchair critics here unable to form opinions for themselves, that tend to follow each other like ignorant sheep. It’s beyond laughable that they think they know better than our world class coach who obviously think Moussa has a big role to play in our team, and so do most people who understand the game and how our team plays.
My advice to people like you is don’t talk about what you obviously don’t understand, because you are making yourself not only look silly but perverse. How about supporting our players for a change? If they’re good enough for Poch then they’re good enough for me.

Thatcher was a cow – but I thought at the time in our countries history, she was what we needed. Problem is, looking back at her actions with modern eyes, she looks tyrannical and the reason for many of our countries issues. At the time though, she made the changes the country needed. As you say, moved us from fumbling to leading on the world stage.

Referring to the political offerings on the previous blog, I reckon (outside of terrorists!) that Corbyn and his sidekick, O’Connell, are the most dangerous people in the country. They get in and we’re fucked; our economy will go right down the tubes.

Mentioning Thatcher, I now have rather ambivalent feelings towards her; she was a socially divisive figure but she did restore our standing in the world. I remember when I was in France in 1972 and I could somehow detect the glee there was among the natives regarding GB’s state at the time, let alone where we were in 1979 when Thatcher took over the reins. We became competitive again under her, though we paid a social price.

Look, i am just saying. Poch has stated that he wants to potentially stay for 20 years and dreams of winning the pl and cl with us and lead us into the new stadium. So berate all you want but i actually believe what our manager says on this issue given his loyalty for nearly 5 years.

Must say – some of the SPurs sites do make me chuckle. I am being told Sissoko was world class last night (I can only assume he only played 2nd half and the guy with his shirt on the first was an imposter). We are talking about a guy that has made 110 appearances for the club, with only 10-12 of them being decent and is therefore worth £30m (2016 prices so think similar price to Sane, Kante, Mane…there were some shit ones too) and £90k a week!! Honestly, short memories some people. the guy is dog shit being made to look good in a side that is desperate and he is prforming as a lump. Can anyone tell me that when the ball is heading into the final 3rd you say…”Oh good, its Sissoko”. No, when we have the ball you wish you could rotate him NFL style and bring him back on when they have it.

Harry – you writing for the daily sport as your name is linked to an article.

In terms of the United bit. the £20m cost of sacking Jose will be made up by OGS actually getting them into top 4. I cant see them losing that spot now as Arsenal and Chelsea are not looking good at all.
