From ESPN:

Galatasaray have been monitoring Janssen and were keen to bring in an additional striker in January with the Dutchman top of their list on a loan move with an option to buy. But he will now stay at Tottenham.

“Absolutely not happening! Janssen is not joining Galatasaray, they may want him but he is not leaving,” Laros told ESPN FC. “Janssen will of course stay at Tottenham, he is not going anywhere.”

First up, the moment Galatasaray is mentioned in connection with a Premier League transfer a gigantic alarm bell always rings because nobody can quite remember how many players made that historic switch.

Are the numbers in double or even triple figures of was it just Emmanuel bloody Eboué?

Secondly, why in the name of Nelly Furtardo would anyone want Vincent Janssen? The only interest he’s likely to get from another human being is from someone looking for a kidney match.

Janssen regrettably, isn’t anywhere near the required standard right now. And right now is all that counts.

We’re not an orphanage. The Premier League is unforgiving in the respect of players must be ready to go upon delivery if they are to influence football matches.

If Spurs want to make speculative financial investments, then could they possibly do so with things I don’t have to sit and stare at.

Thanks in advance.
