Danny Rose’s second appearance since his rather ‘muddled’ injury period at Tottenham Hotspur this season is more interesting than it might first appear.

Gladys was pretty candid about the whole Danny Rose situation. Our beloved chairman leapt into action in response to the insane interview the boy gave to The Sun.

And Glad didn’t hold back when it came to sharing how utterly p*ssed off the gaffer was when it came to the whole breach of trust business with Rose.

Well it appears that young Daniel didn’t believe his work as Chairman was done after he’d popped round Rose’s, that dark stormy night.

The manager and the left back quite naturally found themselves in an awkward spot. So Levy has been doing his upmost – without interfering – to gently nudge the pair closer to something approaching harmony.

Will Rose be sold in January, next summer or will he and Poch be able to live happily ever after (for the dumb dumb’s remaining are seasons)?

Stay tuned…

Boy that’s a strong line-up, w plenty of full-backs. We should throw on KWP to have 4.

Gazz, KWP, Sanchez, Dembele, Winks, NKoudou, Eriksen on the bench

Not a bad side at all.

I’d like to see Danny stay but this fight is already lost through a combination of his low IQ and watching his mate Kyle earn a small fortune while sitting pretty at the top of the league. The combination of this with him wanting to move back to his native roots up north means he’s already got one foot out of the door. Add to that how ruthless Poch can be when he percieves a player disrespected him, his team mates and the club…and he’s got a hand in the small of his back pushing too. At least with Poch at the helm we shouldn’t fear the loss of a player of Rose’s class as we’ll always move on. I’d love us to bring in Ryan Sessegnon and have him fight with Davies who’s come on leaps and bounds since Rose got injured. Perfect World, if Rose is set on leaving we don’t waste time and let him go in January and bring in Sessegnon and Barkley with the money, with a little left over to keep Levy’s hands glowing from a serious hand rubbing session.

I dont think this fight is lost since Rose is in the team for today. I recon Poch would have left him out of team if the fight was lost.

Davies, Rose and Trips…..Davies as part of a back 3?

      • MysteriousStranger October 25, 2017 at 7:02 pm

Foyth, Aldi and Davies back 3.

      • Spiderneil October 25, 2017 at 7:02 pm

Looks that way. I’m surprised Virm was picked as captain though…

        • Spiderneil October 25, 2017 at 7:03 pm

          Vorm*

        • Still Nil Nil October 25, 2017 at 7:04 pm

As part of The Fine Young Cannibals, vorm was lead singer so as leader of that group maybe poch thinks he can lead this group to a win

It always seems strange that Toby is overlooked, although I get the impression he’s not that interested. Vorm though deserves it, as he’s been great when he comes in and is clearly loyal to the club in his willingness to play back-up. These are the only games he’s guaranteed to start, outside of making the final, so it’s a nice little nod from Poch in my opinion.

Which player will be a good replacement for Rose if Poch eventually decide to let him go? Okay, we got Davies and i am happy with his performances lately but we would still need a replacement for Rose if he goes. Nah, lets keep him, hopefully he has learned from his foolish statement earlier. Lets give him a chance.

  • SpurAndy 🍒π October 25, 2017 at 6:35 pm

    Hope he stays.

Hopefully, foolish Danny Rose has learned a difficult lesson through this. Reporters are never your friends.

  • BARD October 25, 2017 at 6:17 pm

Get him back in the fold. Top class

  • Hanumana October 25, 2017 at 6:15 pm

I have mixed feelings about Rose but i like the depht we have in the team now so would like to keep him if he is able to behave from now on.

  • Sid Trotter October 25, 2017 at 6:06 pm
