Levy Wants 1150% Profit On Deal

By The Boy -

When Eric Dier joined Spurs on August 2nd 2014, it was on a 5 year deal and the defender cost us £4million.

The Telegraph are saying that Levy wants Manchester United to cough up £50million if they want to sign the boy.

Not a bad return, even by Baldy’s standards.

Look, this window was always going to be a tricky one. You can’t finish second in the league and expect not to be pestered by both transfer rumours and actual enquiries/offers.

As discussed previously, in an industry wholly fixated with money and status, dull moments will be few and far between.

Levy has a sensational brochure to use as leverage when buying and selling. His problem is that players aren’t fans (apart from Harry Kane) and jam tomorrow simply won’t cut it with the modern footballer.

If Dier quit Spurs he could more double his salary immediately and – it has to be said – join a side with form for winning trophies.

Money and status.
