Kompany, Silva, Toure & Aguero Haven’t All Played Together Since September

By The Boy -

Some day of football we’re having.

A depressing victory for the Arse that sees us drop into third.

So then another factor that makes this game all the more serious.

The return of Kompany, and playmaker David Silva’s fitness after shaking off an ankle injury, means City have their core outfield players back together for the first time in five months.

City have not had Kompany, Silva, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero on the field at the same time since September.

The possible good news is that the City Boss says he will only play Kompany if there is mo chance of him relapsing.

“I think that every player that will play the game must be 100 per cent fit and Vincent has been working the last three weeks without any problems. He played 45 minutes in a friendly with the under-21s so I think that he is ready now to play.”

Of the nine Premier League games Kompany has played this season, City have won seven and drawn two. They have lost six of the 16 in which he has not featured.

On Spurs. Pellegrini said:

“They have a very good team, good players, a good manager. This is game number 25 and they are involved for the fight for the title, so probably in the last 13 games they will do it also. But what I think about Tottenham is not just the last six games. The whole season they have been doing very well.”

Our problem is be that we have too many games in from of us.

Historically this fixture has always brought heaps of goals.

I’m going for a Desmond.

2-2.
