An update on the Harry Kane injury is expected very soon. It’ll be an anxious wait. The man with 35 goals to his name this season so far hobbled off the pitch on the 29th minute after what appeared to be an innocuous enough coming together with the Bournemouth goalie.

Kane initially gave the impression he might be coming back on, but then made a cagey exit down the tunnel. The 24 year old was later photographed leaving the stadium wearing a protective boot and crutches.

The true severity is anyone’s guess but next Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final clash at Swansea has to be out of the question.

The Daily Mail believe that club medics have advised waiting until the swelling of ligament has subsided before undertaking the scan that was rumoured to take place on Monday.

On an upbeat note, Kane has form for making a prompt return from injury. Pochettino stated after the game:  “We hope that it’s not a massive issue. He felt that when he ran and twisted his ankle that it was impossible to stay on the pitch.?

We are all pissed with the season ticket prices. Unless we have an announcement that kane, delle, and our other top players have signed new improved contracts we will be very bitter toward the club.

I thought this was all being done for the fans benefit though.

Let’s hope Serge plays away to the Swans as a reward for his strike at Bournemouth. It’s time for Poch to keep a settled side. No way do We want to see Penalties, our record is Brutal and our Nerves will not handle it.

Here’s the song for the weekend

To bring Spurs home the cup
    that’s our Moura”

We’re not a “Harry Kane” team. We play 433 without him and we look less predictable. That said, let’s hope you’re right, need him for FA semis and to lift the FA cup.

    • Panama Paul March 13, 2018 at 10:14 am

As unpredictable as a chicken with its head cut off.

The slo-mo replay at the time showed his foot twisted at the ankle although most of his weight was not on it, i’d suspect light ligament damage with a return in 3 weeks, just in time for the Chelsea game on April 1st.

  • Rich g March 13, 2018 at 9:41 am

He didn’t run on it afterwards tho ,he limped off ,he’s fucked it again just like when he tried to play through millwalls keeper last season. No sense of self presevation

    • Harry Hotspur March 13, 2018 at 9:47 am

Ffs. Try reading the blog. Nobody said he tried running on it.

  • East Stand March 13, 2018 at 9:38 am

    A segment of an article on the time waster that is Marcus Edwards;

‘When Tottenham made the decision to allow Marcus Edwards move to Norwich in January the hope was the talented midfielder would get a first team education with the Canaries. Unfortunately, it’s March and the English starlet still hasn’t made an appearance for the Championship club.

Norwich manager Daniel Farke continues to reiterate his belief that Edwards needs to improve his work off the ball if he’s going to get meaningful match time. That’s a similar refrain to what Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has said about the creative attacker. It’s easy to see that Edwards is running out of time to fulfill his destiny with Spurs.’

Can’t get in the Norwich side and we are supposed to drop one of our first teamers to fit this cretin in just because he reckon’s he’s a bit tasty with a football?

Adel Taraabt’s career will make Edward’s look like he’s worked on the bins at this rate…

    • Harry Hotspur March 13, 2018 at 9:43 am

He’s clearly a waste of flesh.

15 charity minutes over a year ago – in a game we lost – and this place and other places have been infested with morons wanting him to become a blight on our starting XI.

I guess in Levy’s £20mill – £40mill estimates this guy is at the lower end of that bracket, eh?

      • hillBilly March 13, 2018 at 10:07 am

Largely irrelevant as I agree with you 100% about Edwards, the talent he has is wasted on him, but we actually won the game 5-0 vs Gillingham.

    • Panama Paul March 13, 2018 at 10:12 am

Will this be a wake up call for him? His work ethic is under question, not only at Spurs but now Norwich. Rather than getting on with it and improving himself, he’s in cruise mode happily trousering his wages each week while his contract winds down. If he’s engineering a move to Barcelona I think he’s having a laugh and needs a reality check.

    • caveman March 13, 2018 at 10:35 am

He’ll go the way of that other waster that went on loan to Rangers and then disappeared up his own arsehole.

  • East Stand March 13, 2018 at 9:32 am

    Fingers crossed…
