Gladys tells me that the provisional estimate of Harry Kane’s absence is six weeks.

As mentioned previously, it was the same ankle ligament that spoiled things for everyone last time and so therefore that’s the kind of  timeline we’re looking at.

Obviously Tottenham want to get him back as soon as humanly possible.

The facilities at the club’s disposal are second to none, but this is regrettably one that cannot be ‘walked off.’

Not so much racing but overlooking the Cleve hills in the heart of the Cotsworlds it’s a pleasant day out for all. Pub breakfast followed by racing then back to the same pub for an eve carvery.

          • Gloster1861 March 14, 2017 at 9:41 am

You could do that by travelling on the steam train from the far end of the racecourse car park. The Gloucs-Warwickshire line.

Far better than watching horses being slaughtered for the pleasure of braying idiots.

Horses are often destroyed not because their legs won’t heal again so they can stand, but because they can’t compete again, and are therefore of no further use to the owners. So called horse lovers.

I hear it was Michael Oliver last night. Sounds like there were a couple of contentious decisions. Weak ref. Bullied at school, no doubt.
It gives me no satisfaction to predict that our semi will be marred by some controversial refereeing decisions. Oliver or Marriner will likely officiate and both are pony.

    • Gloster1861 March 14, 2017 at 9:17 am

There was some obvious diving by Chelsea players. Oliver clearly was not going to be tough on the home team but I’m never going to sympathise with Mourinho, who was gifted the League Cup by the ref that day.

      • Camus March 14, 2017 at 9:30 am

Most of the refs are either not up to it or are under instruction to ensure that certain teams win.

        • David Dillenberg March 14, 2017 at 9:32 am

          Michael Oliver reffed well.

        • SpurAndy 🍒π March 14, 2017 at 9:36 am

With the defecation of another high profile ref (Clattenburg) and the relentless hounding of refs that make mistakes I think the video referral is not far away. Otherwise we’ll only have 3rd rate refs rather than the current second rate ones.

          • Gloster1861 March 14, 2017 at 9:39 am

Defection, or did you mean what you wrote?

  • The Great White Hope March 14, 2017 at 8:33 am

Herrera deserved both yellows, the first a blatant body check, the second a deliberate trip after the ball had gone and within a few yards of the ref, secs after an incident where he warned players, Herrera should donate his £120k to Red Nose Day !

    • Gloster1861 March 14, 2017 at 8:37 am

Yes he did get two yellows, but if the ref had booked some of the previous fouls early doors, maybe the match would have calmed.

      • The Great White Hope March 14, 2017 at 8:41 am

He could certainly have booked 3 others earlier but probably wanted to let the game flow, i saw quite a few bookable offences before and after the Red, but then we are not refs !

  • Gloster1861 March 14, 2017 at 8:27 am

It wasn’t a good match, the Norman Wisdom lookalike who was refereeing had let a load of heavy challenges go earlier, and then managed to book just a single player twice, thereby ruining the game.

            In answer to your question…

Radioactive graphite is evaporated at 1700 centigrade, then as the gas cools it condenses onto one side of an existing crystal of industrial diamond. This thin substrate of radioactive carbon is then sandwiched by another layer of industrial diamond to trap it. The battery works because any decaying particle is converted into electrical impulses, a quality of diamond crystals and this produces the current whilst absorbing the radioactivity.

Kante had an easy match as United parked the bus and he just had to keep moving the ball from side to side probing. His opposite number Pogba was awful, didn’t compete.

    • East Stand March 14, 2017 at 7:57 am

Kante was in a side that won the league last season and he’s in another this season. The media only want stories and that’s a story.

Yes he’s a superb player in that position but timing and circumstances have led to the situation not him winning stuff single handed. He did nothing at WHL, Dembele and Victor dominated him.

Leicester have stopped playing this season and Chavs have started playing again this season. It makes Kante look like the catalyst for both but it’s overstating things.

He’s very good but he’s in the right place at the right time too…

“with the unionists propping up the tory majority in westminster, highly unlikely”
    Caveman March 14, 2017 at 12:07 am
“Where the fuck did you find those non facts?”

    To Cavey:
the two NI unionist parties hold a crucial role in the westminster chamber when it comes to supporting the tiny majority of the governing tory party. The tories have a working majority of what 13, 14? And the unionists hold how many seats currently, 10? So that requires only for the unionists to turn tail and a few Tory abstentions on any vote including no-confidence motions, brexit et al and the government of the day can be defeated in the primary chamber. I’d categorise the unionists agreement with the government not to fuck them as above as propping up. And i think it’s fair to say that’s a fairly widely accepted political fact, rather than a non-fact that i plcuked from fuck knows etc

    • caveman March 14, 2017 at 1:19 am

I frankly don’t believe that to be accurate. The Tory’s swept to power with a massive majority in the last election, so I cannot see where your calculations are coming from.

      • caveman March 14, 2017 at 1:31 am

The Tories have 330 seats, the DUP have 8 and the UUP have 2. Oh yeah they would hold sway all right. For the Government to require a prop-up from the two Unionist Parties all other parties would have to be voting against them and the two Unionist Parties would have to be in agreement with each other (which they never are) for the Tories to need their support. Don’t talk rubbish.

        • Gloster1861 March 14, 2017 at 7:21 am

Sinn Fein don’t even sit in Parliament as they refuse to take the oath of allegiance. Remove their seats against.

I’ve replied to this on the most recent blog, you’re wrong

        • paul March 14, 2017 at 3:47 pm

          Cavey what is your malfunction?
“don’t talk rubbish” “where the fuck did you get those non-facts”
Let me explain what a ‘working majority’ means; it derives from exactly the scenario you outline above, yet think so ludicrous, regardless of the fact that previous governments with far larger majorities have been defeated in key votes in exactly the same circumstances. A ‘working majority’ is the difference between the single party that received the most seats versus all the others parties that could notionally band together and vote against it. The Tories therefore have a tiny ‘working majority’ that’s a fact, any political commentator, journalist or academic will confirm this as such. To say the Tories “..swept to power with a massive majority in the last election..” is as laughable as it is incorrect.
(fDaily Telegraph), political commentBy Dan Snow11:06AM BST 09 May 2015
“First Past the Post: delivering strong, single party, decisive governments. Except when it doesn’t. We are now looking at five years with a Prime Minister who holds what can only be described as a razor-thin majority..”

I could cut and past a hundred more articles from recognised political commentators/academics that would categorise the current Tory majority similarly

Governments can’t take chances, governments with ‘razor thin majorities’ absolutely can not, that is why they seek out agreements with other parties within the house to support them. This government has such an agreement with the Unionist parties and those two parties don’t have to agree with each other, they just have to agree separately with the Tories to support them in crucial votes (such as no confidence votes) as and when needed, they obviously get shit in return. In political jargon/slang this is known as ‘propping up’.

What you ‘believe’ doesn’t enter into it, you’re flat out wrong, the Tories have a tiny majority and they are ‘propped up’ by the Unionists in the event of any no-confidence motions being called. Therefore my original comments (that you took such immediate and disproportionately negative issue with) are correct, as is my categorisation of the current governments working majority as tiny. And seeing as you’ve called them non-facts and rubbish, i’ll hear you say it.

Since the match today wasn’t of interest other than hoping for a mass brawl and injuries, I watched the world record player Pogba closely. He was shit, utter dross. His contribution was minimal other than jogging about, he couldn’t read play, control the ball or lay it off to a team mate. Total garbage. Is he related to Sissoko?

It isn’t democratic. It resembles rule by a late medieval privy council. That is what the Commission is more than anything. Set up by the monarch (the Council of Europe in this case), it runs the kingdom without account to its parliament which is just a talking shop, similar to Henry VIII’s.
We had a civil war to change rule by a method such as this. The EU is archaic.

    • Gloster1861 March 13, 2017 at 11:39 pm

Wallace wasn’t even of Scottish stock. Probably the name from his father was a corruption of Le Waleis, the Welshman. Like Robert the Bruce, a Norman family (Le Bruys), Scottish history is a bundle of myths concocted for the sweaty jocks to sing songs to.

    • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 11:40 pm

Sturgeon is a hater of England pure and simple, otherwise she would be seeking more powers autonomy and funding for Scotland rather than risking an even more uncertain future with independence.

It’s her disdain for England that’s driving this rather than what’s right for Scotland. Her and Salmond like to come across as it’s all being about policy, public services etc. If it was that then concentrate on that rather than this Caledonian crusade against the English. It’s pathetic…

      • Poxy March 13, 2017 at 11:42 pm

        • East Stand March 14, 2017 at 12:06 am

They aren’t stupid but they are fulled by a hatred of England. I’m not even sure that Scots that voted for independence realise quite what makes these people tick.

They are lying as much as Boris did over the EU money that would go to the NHS, it’s all about overstating the positives of independence some of which are just wholly incorrect.

          • paul March 14, 2017 at 12:10 am

Yup. I think the ‘better together’ catastrophe obv had it all wrong, the obvious way ahead is to expose the zealots for what they are and kill our scottish brothers and sister with kindness… like WTF are you doing??, this is ‘us’ we love you guys, who are these fruit loops you’ve elected as leaders that are tryng to split us up etc

            • East Stand March 14, 2017 at 12:22 am

I agree, although if they do vote to leave us remind them that Scotland faces the full clamp down by us on trade and other benefits.

Brussels want to make it as hard for us as possible when we leave and we don’t share our history as a nation. Let them know it will be a hard, hard break from the UK.

The Germans export more cars to the U.K. than any other country in Europe for example which is why we will have some clout in negotiations, our economic size. What do the Scottish have in terms of economic clout?

              • paul March 14, 2017 at 12:49 am

We do a fair old trade with them but there’s no doubt who’d come out of any split worse off. Would be protracted and horrible, so lets hope it doesn’t come to pass and we can see off the SNP once and for all, they’re a busted flush

So Lord Pannick’s little plan didn’t work. Brexit can now proceed as it ought. First hurdle jumped.

Meanwhile, in Scot land, the sweaty jocks are flustered. If a future independence referendum has to wait until after the UK has left the EU, there will be no one else to take the begging bowl to. Their current ploy is to pretend that Brussels will bail out the pathetic SNP nonces if they get independence. May should offer a definite referendum date, but one in 2021. Suck that, Nicola.

    • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:14 pm

Brexit negotiations day one page one; we want an official statement from the EU that Scotland wil have to re-apply for membership, now what do you want in return..

      • Gloster1861 March 13, 2017 at 11:20 pm

We simply have to refuse a referendum until after Brexit. The SNP will be dead meat in those circumstances.

        • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:26 pm

Imho i think that’s a bad play, TM already came off as preachy and arms length in her response, being a refusnik would be red rag to a bull. I’d play for time first, highlight them (SNP) assuming the shape of a deal will be clear within that timeframe being a helluva reach and get into the negotiations proper to find out the full sp on Eu’s feelings to Scotlands chances of membership..and proceed from there

          • Gloster1861 March 13, 2017 at 11:45 pm

No refusal, we simply set a date that is convenient for the UK, not Scotland.

            • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:52 pm

it’s for sure an option but as she kind of headed that off in her statement i don’t think we have to even go there yet. I just hope we play this right because they are officially over a barrel here and given their actual record in govt we could bury this mob

      • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 11:22 pm

        • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:27 pm

Which is why they are trying to achieve independence this side of any brexit deal whilst they still remain (notionally) a member

          • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 11:30 pm

Scotland isn’t a member. Neither is England, or Wales etc. The UK is. Scotland cannot ‘remain’ in the EU outside of the UK.

Ban Scottish import and export freight from passing through any U.K land, sea territory or airspace.

Ban all Scottish companies from operating in any part of the U.K and its territories unless they pay hefty tariffs.

Introduce visa only access for Scottish citizens to either work or visit the U.K and any of its territories.

If Sturgeon wants to break up the U.K and and disregard our shared history in this way we should make it as hard as it can be made.

Let her go arse licking Brussels, we should work into the Brexit deal that the U.K reserves the right to decide its relationship with Scotland independently of any future E.U membership Scotland seeks or gets…

      • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 11:34 pm

That’ll snooker her plans good and proper…

      • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:37 pm

Some of this would HAVE to come to pass if by some miracle they were able to swing membership or even if they didn’t and desperately signed up to whatever bend-over deal the EU offered. It’s one thing having a soft-hard border (semi?) in Ireland when it comes to migration but with Scotland nuh-uh, would have to be hard hard. Only card they really really have is our investment in military hardware up there, it’s multi multi billion and strategically would be a total nightmare to have to figure out

        • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 11:44 pm

Move it down the coast past the boarder to rejuvenate much of the north of England like Newcastle and Liverpool. It’s not even that far geographically, relocate a bit.

          • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:57 pm

If only East, the RAF and boot boys isn’t too much of a problem although i know some RAF bras who’d severely disagree, the problem is the RN and the big boys toys, you’re talking trillions to outfit English ports to be able to house them

            • East Stand March 14, 2017 at 12:12 am

Make the Scottish pay for the relocation, if they want to be independent let them put their money where their mouth is.

Perhaps Brussels will lend them the funds to buy us out and join them in the EU love in? Oh hang on, they’d have more debt than Greece!!

      • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 11:41 pm

        Oooh, you bitch!

    • Poxy March 13, 2017 at 11:46 pm

Isn’t there something about the Scots not being allowed to rejoin the Eu because of the size of their budget deficit?

      • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 11:58 pm

They won’t want another Greece. No more lame economic ducks can be afforded by the EU.

Only ones like Romania and Bulgaria who will never join the Euro and who are corrupt enough to tow the Brussles line because the EU subs end up in the back pockets of the mafia that run them.

They are not really proper member states, the people that run these countries are just taking hand outs to pay lip service to Brussels. In the meantime the EU gets more cheap labour and the people remain no better off.

This is another example of how the EU has become so laughable compared to the original idea…

        • Poxy March 14, 2017 at 12:22 am

You’ve just answered a query of mine ie that if they perhaps don’t want Scotland, how on earth did Bulgaria and, in particular, Rumania get invited to join?

          • East Stand March 14, 2017 at 12:32 am

            Corruption, just like Greece Poxy.

Only this time they are pretending to be economically entwined with the EU to make the EU look like it’s expanding. In reality it’s nothing more than hand outs in return for cheap labour and goods.

Their ‘membership’ is a scam, they got too involved in Greece but these countries are just window dressing…

            • East Stand March 14, 2017 at 12:36 am

Scotland will want real economic benefits from the EU, something that a county that small can no longer get from a union up to its ears in debt with Greece and an increasingly creaking Italy. Scottish membership isn’t as sexy for Brussels as it is for Sturgeon and her little Bravheart routine…

Chelsea don’t look anything special. Cahill’s a liability at the back and if they lost Hazard for any length of time it could make the title race very interesting.

    • Poxy March 14, 2017 at 12:03 am

And mine, really; I do remember them beating Burnley in 1962 (my first memory of professional football on television was Danny Blanchflower being interviewed, possibly in an empty stand, at Wembley prior to that final.), but not really a football fan at the time and so didn’t actually watch the game, though I would vaguely have considered Spurs as my favourite team.

My first season as a fully fledged fan was in 64-65. We finished 6th that year and, unfortunately, with our away form so abysmal that season (only one win and six points; unbeaten and 39 points at home!), I had a fairly depressing time watching them three times in the West Midlands and losing each time. Not a happy bunny was I on those occasions. But yes, I remember 1967 FA Cup final with fondness. In the Autumn that season, I became rather keen on Celtic and that was the season they won the European Cup and did a Grand Slam of trophies. We were also 3rd in the league that year, so all in all, my happiest season ever.

        • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 11:46 pm

You said that Taff, not me.

      • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:16 pm

??? To clarify, i want to beat Chelsea and meet Ar5ena1 in the final to beat them too. Which part of that was unclear?

        • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 11:24 pm

Er, I don’t think Easty’s comment was directed at you, Paul.

          • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:33 pm

Ah yes, i see that now! Ta very much

            • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 11:48 pm

The order of reply with the comments can catch one now and again Paul. It happens.

              • paul March 14, 2017 at 12:01 am

Half the time i give up trying to reply due to inherent scrolling laziness (ISL?) or the c@nting blog has issues! But you’ll probably never read this now as it’s so far down and i certainly am unlikely to loof to see if you did ;’)

      • Poxy March 14, 2017 at 12:14 am

It won’t be a North London final – one of us might possibly reach the final (I think perhaps more likely us), but we won’t both do so! Not too optimistic about beating City in the final as having not beaten us in the league this season and with us escaping from the Etihad with a somewhat fortunate (though ultimately fighting) draw, they would seem due for a win against us and for revenge also for the 1981 final.

  • paul March 13, 2017 at 10:30 pm

At risk of repeating myself Neville PICKED us out of the bowl to play Chavski; didn’t move the balls at all, didn’t look away, just looked straight down into the bowl and picked us out from the three static balls. I knew before he withdraw his skanky Manc arm he’d picked us.

    • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 10:51 pm

Do you think that he knew, before he picked the balls out, which numbered ball represented which team? I don’t think he did.

      ① Chelsea
      ③ Tottenham
      ② Arsenal
      ④ Man City

      Sorry, Paul. Conspiracy busted.

      • paul March 13, 2017 at 10:53 pm

Four balls numbered 1-4, you think they didn’t know which balls represented which teams?

        • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 10:54 pm

          Yes. They don’t.

          • paul March 13, 2017 at 10:54 pm

Not according to what i’ve heard

          • Gloster1861 March 13, 2017 at 11:02 pm

They told us before the draw, they were standing next to the gormless looking presenter as he said which numbers were each team. Even Neville can remember four numbers.

            • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:04 pm

probably taxed him somewhat but correct

              • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 11:08 pm

                Beg your pardon, Paul.

this is altogether too far down the blog! I have generally no idea but you displayed grace there 🙂

            • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 11:07 pm

              I see.

      • Poxy March 14, 2017 at 12:16 am

Man City were 2 and Arsenal were 4, Spurts!

    • AntSpurs March 13, 2017 at 10:52 pm

The balls had already been mixed Paul. Completely random.

      • paul March 13, 2017 at 10:53 pm

Yes by Ruuuuud but not by Neville, he didn’t touch them, watch it again, he PICKS out a number

        • AntSpurs March 13, 2017 at 10:58 pm

They are mixed all the same. Even if he know ball 3 was Tottenham and where the starting ball was placed, he would have had to follow Ruuds mixing. Did you see his eyes doing this? I don’t think they can see the balls anyways. Also why would he want Chelsea to draw Spurs? Quite far fetched mate.

          • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:00 pm

I’m not aving it, the fix is in!
Seriously though, the balls are numbered, of the three remaining balls it’s safe to assume at least one is showing it’s number. We’ve been doing a lot at work on facial affects vis a vis impending actions recently, he recognised a number and he picked it. Bang to rights!
            Why, because he could/hates tottenham

            • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 11:10 pm

              What a rubbish system.

          • Gloster1861 March 13, 2017 at 11:03 pm

The numbers were on the balls. They weren’t hollow.

            • paul March 13, 2017 at 11:06 pm

Theresa just needs to say OK Nicola, you want a vote, knock yourself out, in the meantime Aid for Scottish business, Banks, all types of SS payouts and extra Aid for Hospitals stops right now, good luck with that then !
You came in on the coat tails of the rest of the UK, you’ll go out the same way, hope you can negociate because you’ve just lost Scotlands biggest market !

      • jfdit March 13, 2017 at 10:32 pm

SNP are biggest windbags in politics, if they had won their ref they’d been out of EU anyhow

call their bluff but give rest of UK vote on it too

        • The Great White Hope March 13, 2017 at 10:34 pm

PMTM will not allow another Scottish Independence referendum. And even in the highly improbable event that she did allow it, and the Scots voted to break up the Union (also improbable) they’d have nowhere to go – certainly not into the EU, directly or otherwise.

    • jfdit March 13, 2017 at 10:30 pm

yep about bloody time the vote was nearly nine months ago

I’m sick of people talking country down, just need to get on with it, EU needs to be sensible for a change & get FTA sorted quickly

    • Spurstacus 💋 March 13, 2017 at 10:40 pm

Apols, chums. My original comment was made ‘tongue in cheek’.

The fact that PMTM can now trigger Art.50 does not change anything. It’s all about the statutory (EU) two years negotiation and what happens after that.

  • paul March 13, 2017 at 10:19 pm

Now i don’t hold with conspiracy theories much, if at all but i swear to god if you watch a re-run of tonights FA cup draw plug neville looks directly into the bowl (where there are only three balls left) and he PICKS us against Chelscum, it was fucking BLATANT!

  • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 10:17 pm

I’m not one to condone violence on a football pitch, but if part of Utd’s game plan was to kick Hazard could they not have done so a bit harder?

    • jfdit March 13, 2017 at 10:21 pm

no injuries or suspensions this year so far for the chavs, we need that to change

our game against Man Utd has now taken quite a significance, top 4 decider possibly, let’s hope they keep going in the europa

      • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 10:22 pm

citeh would have been tough too as would l’arse, top 4 in the semi’s no easy game there

      Bring it on, says I.

  • Urbane Sturgeon March 13, 2017 at 10:05 pm

I like to think that Antonio Conte’s comments just after tonights match was a very subtle backhanded compliment to Maureenio:

    “I think that………. err……..manchester united have……… um……(strokes chin)……..the best squad of players………. mmm….in the league”.

    Ha Ha Ha classic.

I’d rather play the Chavcheats, Manure with Ibrahimovic up front under Maureen would be a tougher proposition for me.

If it weren’t for that red I reckon they could have got through tonight. Maureen’s teams just suck the life out of the opposition and pinch goals when their opponents have run out of ideas. That could be worse in a semi for us…

  • Lilywhite without the II March 13, 2017 at 8:48 pm

Its a shame he’s injured, you could sense from the Lane yesterday that we really want the FA cup this year and to do so will require our best 11-12 in my opinion. Bloody good day out yesterday although I missed the last goal leaving early (may I add I don’t normally) due to not wanting to risk getting caught up in a kerfuffle and just as well as SNN had blocked the away end so i had to walk the long way round…

    • Still Nil Nil March 13, 2017 at 8:51 pm

      All on my own!!!

  • melcyid March 13, 2017 at 8:46 pm

When we play we dont get protection from the refs why is Hazard so special.

    • Still Nil Nil March 13, 2017 at 8:47 pm

Cos he doesn’t play for Spurs

    • Hartley™ March 13, 2017 at 8:57 pm

He’s a cheating little cunt that spends most of the game on his arse trying to get the opposition sent off.

      • Still Nil Nil March 13, 2017 at 9:00 pm

        I’ve missed you!

        • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 9:25 pm

Can’t stand Hazard, second most slappable boat race after Fabric-arse. Pair of nasty little shits…

  • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 8:44 pm

Chelsea don’t look anything special. Cahill’s a liability at the back and if they lost Hazard for any length of time it could make the title race very interesting.

  • Horndog 😎 March 13, 2017 at 8:32 pm

The numpty’s doing the commentary on Talkshite just stated that they thought Kane might be done for season.

    • Still Nil Nil March 13, 2017 at 8:33 pm

      They’re hoping

      • East Stand March 13, 2017 at 8:57 pm

        I’m going 4 weeks.

There’s obviously a weakness there because the ankle ligaments got stretched last time. It might work out that it could heal quicker because the ligaments aren’t as tight anyway, and a result less strained in effect.

Only problem is that it could keep happening, he probably needed to rest up a bit longer and then just gym work for a bit, that’s hard mid season and when he’s our only striker!

Was he rushed back and this has added to the instability in the joint? Possibly…

  • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? March 13, 2017 at 8:26 pm

I am sick of refs ruining spectacles with there incessant carding. A semi final totally messed up cos the ref wants to be Mr centre of attention. A good ref is an anonymous ref. Neither tackle was a booking. Just a joke.

    • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? March 13, 2017 at 8:26 pm

Oh wait….I don’t give a shit about this match

    • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 8:41 pm

Herrera’s first booking was totally justified; he knew exactly what he was doing when he checked Hazard. The second came after the ref had told the Utd players to cut out their constant fouling of Hazard. The actual foul itself was a bit soft but they had been warned. I don’t think Utd can have too many complaints.

      • Horndog 😎 March 13, 2017 at 8:47 pm

….but they will, such a splendid nature they have.

        • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 8:48 pm

They should have received a couple more bookings for the way they surrounded Oliver after the sending off.

          • Still Nil Nil March 13, 2017 at 8:50 pm

Would be good if the fa implement that thing where only the captain can speak with the ref.

I was offered a bang on100 % Cup final ticket when we get there, from a reliable kosher source at the cricket club whilst relishing the mauling of Millwall. despite their attempts at getting our best players off the pitch.I will be digging out my greenshield stamps for the occasion.Already looking at flights and manouvering work commitments.I have never had a ticket from the club for any final but have always got in one way or t’other looks like that run will continue.Just need the lads to do the business in the semis.

Semi final is 1 week before our game against the Arses, so hopefully it’s not that bad an injury as previously. They can only do the scan on the ankle once the major swelling goes down to learn what damage there is so here is hoping. 🙂

  • UnkleTaff March 13, 2017 at 7:04 pm

Man City stared the season like a house on fire, winning their first six games in a canter. For their seventh they came to the Lane. We kicked their arses.

Harry Kane did not feature that day.

  • pbro March 13, 2017 at 6:57 pm

Better get some kind of horse placenta treatment to speed up his recovery

  • paul March 13, 2017 at 6:56 pm

It’s done, we have to get on with it and imho we have to play Vinny but for gawds sake this has to be done with maximum support in and around him, otherwise the pressure will become intolerable on the poor lad. Anyway is ther much choice other than rotating versions of this..
    Hugo
    Tobes Dier Verts
    Wanyama Winks/Moose
    Walker/Tripps Rose/Taff
    Tintin Dele/Son
    Vinny
