Harry Kane is thought to be out for six weeks after injuring the same ankle that spoiled the beginning of his season.
Clive Allen said “It is a massive blow,” was on talkSPORT this morning.
“It seems as if he has reinjured the ankle which kept him out for seven weeks and with the quality of the last four… it would be like the one of the others teams losing Costa, Sanchez, Aguero.
Harry Kane is that important to Spurs.
“It is something he will be so disappointed about, especially with the way the season has been going for him.”
Stepney born Clive scored 60 goals in 100 appearances during his four years at Spurs.
