If we drop back to the late 90’s mid/low table, with the stadium events and if they can score with an NFL franchise do they even need a succesfull Spurs to make bank?, especially if they sell up. Selling players and merch plus Prem tv money is plenty coming from the football side if they have all the other income working for em.

I actually wanted to play Southport and go and stand at the side of a pitch and just remember football as I knew it one more time. This lot have totally ruined it and more worrying is the fact that I genuinely believe that they are acting in the interests of their own little gang and bollox to tottenham

Also feel that while he’s got his yank dream he ain’t going anywhere. He can ride out the debt on the ground with a big sale every season and TV money, and I fear his big dream ain’t even prem league. He’s seen the money in nfl and thinks this is his way of getting his sticky mitts on it. But I don’t see why people can’t see the things you highlighted when it’s so obvious. And then say your negative/gooner/any other crap when I will always love spurs but always hate the people that have raped it for 20 years. One fucking league cup

Correct. The damn thing is too late. The gate money and the selling of food and tat is no longer a big deal.

he’s a decade too late building a stadium. The NFL thing is a joke as is the disparity between his pay in relation to his peers and the players in relation to theirs. I detest Levy and ENIC and anyone who cant see what they are is too stupid to communicate with. None of which saves our club from the imminent fall.

its a scary thought that losing a few players and the manager and this thing folds like a pack of cards. Contrary to Poch’s recent presser, ENIC haven’t put their own money in and this beloved institution is looking more fooked by the day. A shiny new stadium isn’t worth shite these days.

What’s concerning is this Vertonghen business.

One of our very best players.

Yet no deal to carry him on a golden throne into the brave new world – just an extra season triggered.

This isn’t how you build a dynasty. This is how you pull a fast one, only slowly…

We have all seen it and said it only now the levy lovers are about to realise they have been taken for the most expensive rides of their lives. I totally agree H. Toby and Jan should both have been given their worth, and if slappy can’t figure it out, the other 2 will become better players learning from them 2. Not rocket science. Of course the big plan was to attempt to buy poch and kane off and resort to prayer that the rest of the league slips up again which is basically his default setting. Hope and prayer. And when the levy crew wanna start stamping their hooves and whining about some poxy pint pouring machine, leave them with this. Slappy paid himself 3m for that. Think about it. 3m. Got the rest of the stadium wrong, and stole money off his supposed most important customers but paid himself over the going rate, yet when the best centre half partnership want the going rate the words f u c k and off can’t come out quick enough. Fact. Oh but he’s paying harry, xyz. Correct. But if harry was elsewhere he’d be on a boatload more. Fact. Its pitiful.

ENIC should hold no surprises for us. This is what they do. Vicenza were a promising little outfit in the late 90’s, they were promoted to Serie A, won the coppa Italia and then ENIC got involved. After the selling off of their best players to bigger teams among plans for new stadium(ring any bells) Vicenza were soon relegated and now and reside in Italy’s 3rd tier group with ENIC long since gone. We have been highjacked and done up like the proverbial. The regeneration was the reason they got involved with THFC. The NFL too. Still Spurs fans defend these reptiles. We will have to watch, wincing as it all unfolds and there will be no pleasure in being proved right.

There have been a few of us on here pondering this exact scenario for a while. Now if we as fans can see the potential for this happening, how come the almighty slap head can’t??! Here’s reality. We ain’t gonna get anyone better than him. Not a hope. Because to get a “winner” is gonna require cash. We all know what that is. It’s what Daniel either pilfer off for uncle Joe’s new Picasso or he spends like my Mrs at Xmas on a new ground. Unfortunately the only likely scenario is he does leave, citing they are the biggest club in the world blah blah. But the blindingly obvious here is it won’t stop with him, kane eriksen alli will all go as well. In comes either howe or Houghton, I’d have said dyche a while back but his star appears to be on the wane, and we will listen to Daniel say how he’s a great progressive blah blah. Horse shit. Sick of progressive, I want to see my club win something before I die. The only thing that may stop him is slappy going and buying some players. The ones he wants. And alot of prayer because if he does go, I really fear for the whole house of cards

Hate to say it, but manure will take Poch at the end of the season. Can’t blame him to be honest, but I’m worried about which players follow him to ot.
After all the progress we’ve made under Poch, despite the lack of support from our owners ,he deserves a club with big ambitious owners and cash to spend.
The moment came for Spurs to challenge but we didn’t bother, and yet again we are left floundering.
I think most of us hoped that levy would support Poch, but deep down we all new he wouldn’t.Hence we are now fucked, manure will get out best and send us back to where our ambitions deserve.
The press and media who generally hate spurs have been waiting for something to unravel, and as usual we oblige.
We’re fucked.

Realistically after 4 /5 yrs in charge without winning a trophy, Poch (who unless I am mistaken I recall a while ago was quoted as saying he wants to stay at Spurs for ever) may have reached the conclusion that realistically punching above our weight during his progressive tenure he has taken Spurs as far as he can go when if he departs the likes of Chrissy Hughton and Eddie Howe will be in the frame.

Levy to sell the entire Spurs squad to ManUre, including backroom staff and promote the academy boys to the first team with a sprinkling of freshly dug up French league shit.
We get fellaini on loan as a sweetener.
