Home » It’ll Be 2-2

Paul Merton said: “Chelsea are looking to break the Premier League record for consecutive wins in this match, but I don’t think they’ll do it because this is a really hard game.

I watched Chelsea’s game against Stoke for Soccer Saturday and they have weaknesses. Despite the record, I think Antonio Conte will look at the next two fixtures away at Spurs and Leicester and he’d take four points.

That would make them major, major favourites to win the Premier League. Remember, it can still change very quickly.

If they lose at Spurs, then Liverpool will probably cut the gap to three points, which is nothing with 18 games to go. This will be a very good game and I think it will be a draw.”

Merson my well be onto something.

Love ’em or loathe ’em, Chelsea’s form is division winning, however our form is decent enough to make this an even affair – with the wind behind us.

Historically we don’t fare well against this mob.

In 49 league meetings, Spurs have won just 4 times.

Those 4 wins were at The Lane.

In 49 league meetings Chelsea have won at The Lane just 10 times. That’s 10 times too many, but it confirms our home advantage.

Looking at the last 5 meetings, we played them at The Lane twice, winning one game and drawing the other.

My prediction is 2-2.
