ITK: Striker Ticks All The Boxes

By The Boy -

Picture a substandard meal from one of this pubs you drive past that has one of those big signs outside crying ‘2 Meals for £8.99’ or similar.

The very language screams subsistence. ‘Top up you blood sugar levels to a marginally more satisfactory degree than you would if you just went through the motions and ate some crisps’.

Now picture one of these ‘meals’ reheated and presented to you by a server who is checking their phone with their other hand.

Sebastian Driussi could sign for Spurs.

Technically, so could Charlie Adam.

The rumour appears to have begun back in January and failed to generate much traction then. So now with nothing substantive to publish, this ‘meal’ is being reheated for this summer window.

Driussi ticks all the boxes.

All the wrong boxes and it’s pretty obvious that Spurs were originally linked as we were perceived as a rising balloon. A club that might take a punt for €13million.

I’ve even read the claim that our ‘heritage’ for signing Argentinians (Ossie, Ricky, Lamela, Poch) would make this a good fit.

Glad says that we’ve not even scouted this kid. He even has a release clause, for goodness sake.
