Injury Updates Ahead Of Fulham

By The Boy -

Ben Pearce was at the presser in London yesterday and understands that Erik Lamela, Harry Winks and Josh Onomah are back in training.

Victor Wanyama, Carter-Vickers and Julian Foyth are still out.

Wanyama is working outdoors now though.

This lack over significant movement through the physio system at Hotspur Way means that Pochettino has the same players to choose from that he had for Newcastle United.

The Josh Onomah business shows no great signs of improvement.

The boy returned from a loan spell at Aston Villa and isn’t up to speed with his fitness.

“He’s a little bit behind the rest (fitness-wise) but we’re working. I’m going to decide if he’s a player that can stay with us or maybe if we believe he can play more, to find maybe some alternative for him to play more than last season (loan).”

The decision making processor Onomah could lead a cynic to believe Mauricio already knows the answer and that the lad simply isn’t good enough for us.

This brutal honesty will be snared at be the Dumb Dumbs insisting upon ‘a chance’ be given, but this is just another waste of valuable time and money.

More dithering and denial.

No’Cluedo, Onomah, Clinton Cards – in fact you can Moura to this shabby list – not one of them is good enough.

Perhaps the plan is to keep playing Moura against lesser opposition in the hop that something positive happens eventually because he happens to be stood next to Eriksen or Kane?
