Kieran Trippier’s injury update from THFC hasn’t gone down well.
When you click through to the Spurs website, the closest you get to an update is a quote from Poch
saying: “Kieran twisted his ankle and we need to wait until Monday to assess him.”
at right-back which provided the major taking point.
Trippier exited Wembley stadium on crutches and wearing one of those oversized protective boots, was withdrawn just before halftime after being on the losing end of two incidents involving the Brazil international Alex Sandro.

I think we could have all worked that one out. It’s not like team of vets were going to take him behind a tarpaulin and shoot him after the game.
Fingers crossed Kieran is back in a timely fashion. Poch had been quoted elsewhere as saying: “We don’t know how serious it is yet. We will wait until Monday but the feeling at the moment is good.”
“I cannot guess if he will be ready for Newcastle. We are working hard to add some players to the squad and this does not change the idea.”
The alternatives are not good. The alternatives leave us stupidly exposed.
