Lack of aggression is about right. The first leg in Belgium was pretty lame stuff and it was no great shock that the home side won the tie.
Tonight’s game requires Spurs to not just wake up but actually dominate. That said, Gent will be looking to finish what they started and given that they rested a good few of their first team regulars, they may be well be better placed to do so.
The Gent coach has already referred to Wembley as a ‘mythical’ venue and this is something that Tottenham are going to have to get used to, viewing Wembley games as a bigger scalp to take home with them, opposed to just another game in London.
