Welcome to another unique investment opportunity brought to you by Funtime Counselling (Enfield) Inc.

On paper Spurs have got this wrapped up. And it could be a high-scoring affair to boot.

But can Spurs build on an impressive opening win at home to Borussia Dortmund in Group H? Victory in Cyprus could us in a strong position to qualify given Dortmund host Real Madrid.

Jan The Man is serving a one-match ban after receiving two yellow cards against ze Germans, so Poch may put his faith in 19-year-old summer signing Juan Foyth.

GROUP E has Spartak Moscow hosting Liverpool. Draw.

GROUP F sees the seemingly unstoppable Manchester City vs Shakattack Don’t Ask. Home win.

We’re in GROUP H of course. So that’s Apoel Nicosia 19:45 Tottenham Hotspur. Away win.  Elsewhere Borussia Dortmund entertain Real Madrid. Home win. A fiver accumulator on that little lot should lose you a fiver multiply your stake by 20. Good luck.

Thanks for the tips H, was 17/1 for me but better than a kick in the gonads! Makes Kane’s exploits that bit sweeter.

    *LWB

  • AccringtonSpurs September 26, 2017 at 7:13 pm

If it’s a 343 Trippier at RWB doesn’t work – would rather see KWP there as he has more experience.

  • SeattleSpursGuy September 26, 2017 at 7:09 pm

From Lyall Thomas, who is at the match: “‏According to UEFA, #Tottenham line up 4-2-3-1 with Aurier at right-wing. Not 100% on that..”

  • SeattleSpursGuy September 26, 2017 at 6:59 pm

Come out attacking, hit ’em with haymakers, wrap it up by halftime and coast.

  • SeattleSpursGuy September 26, 2017 at 6:57 pm

Bench of Vorm , Foyth, Nkoudou, Llorente and the fetuses KWP, Oakley-Boothe, and Georgiou,

    • Horndog September 26, 2017 at 7:01 pm

      😂

  • BARD September 26, 2017 at 6:56 pm

Basically Son and Kane and the wingbacks.

  • BARD September 26, 2017 at 6:55 pm

Tripps LW back. Aurier right Davies in a back 3. Man we’re short of creativity.

  • SeattleSpursGuy September 26, 2017 at 6:53 pm

So, Trips on the left….I think?

  • SeattleSpursGuy September 26, 2017 at 6:46 pm

Spurs XI vs. APOEL: Lloris; Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Trippier, Dier, Winks, Aurier; Sissoko Son, Kane.

    • Aussie in Switzerland September 26, 2017 at 6:53 pm

So Aurier is going to take the corners, AM?

      • SeattleSpursGuy September 26, 2017 at 6:56 pm

        Trips I’d think

        • caveman September 26, 2017 at 6:57 pm

          Or Davies

  • gloster1861 September 26, 2017 at 6:31 pm

is Gascoigne gonna have a crack?
I am sick to buggery of hearing people in the media raving about how fantastic City are in attack and how they can “tear anyone apart at will” blah blah piffle……they’ve bought pretty much every top class creative player in the world, what do these pricks expect? Put em in Palaces team and you’d get the same result. Its not news. Its not an achievement. Just Fuck off is the main thing.

I wish we kicked off early or something, reckon the Dormund Madrid game will be an absolute cracker tonight!! Poch got it right tactically against Dormund, but first half they were in another league. The intensity & passing around in tight spaces, was technically some of the best footie I seen for a while. Will have a watch of PSG Bayern tomo too, another interesting battle…

    • David Dillenberg September 26, 2017 at 5:46 pm

Especially in the first half you would never have known that we played injury hit Dortmund at Wembley. Frightening when we play them at full strength in their back yard!

      • McG ⚽⚽ September 26, 2017 at 5:52 pm

Don’t forget we’ll be closer to full strength too!!

      • gloster1861 September 26, 2017 at 6:24 pm

Dilly, we already have the three points to ensure we at least have parity over the two games. Where we may fall down is if we don’t trounce Apoel as the group places may come down to goal difference.

  • David Dillenberg September 26, 2017 at 5:40 pm

Roast eggs exist. 5-6 hours on a low heat in the oven with shells on. They turn brown and taste a bit nutty.

You ever tried rotating an egg in a pan???

      • The Boy SPURTSPUR September 26, 2017 at 3:16 pm

I usually rotate the pan. Easier.

        • BARD September 26, 2017 at 3:21 pm

I rotate the egg if I’m poaching.

          • BARD September 26, 2017 at 3:22 pm

But I seldom poach eggs any more. I just buy them. Easier.

      • McG ⚽⚽ September 26, 2017 at 3:24 pm

I find it’s easier to rotate if you keep the shell on.

        • BARD September 26, 2017 at 3:25 pm

So hard boiling is the answer. Or roasting. Roast egg.

          • McG ⚽⚽ September 26, 2017 at 3:30 pm

Well that’s a relief ,just out of curiosity how do you watch the games? Streaming or on deutsch sky??

        • OrganicPaper September 26, 2017 at 4:19 pm

Well when I am in Germany I use a VPN to trick the interweb into thinking i am in UK and watch on my BT sport app or NowTV if its a sky game. Vice versa if there is a game on German TV and not here, there are ways of streaming but its rare that they show Spurs games in my experience. Not ones that are not already broadcast in UK anyway.

Napoli vs Feyenoord – Home win.
Man C vs Shak – Home win.
Spartak vs Dips – Away win.
Sevila vs Maribor – Home win.
Apoel vs Tottenham – Away win.
Monaco vs Porto – Home win.
Quarabag vs Roma – Away win.
Juve vs Olypiacos – Home win.
Sporting CP vs Barca – Away win.
