Shake off the chains of mediocrity you losers!

This time I discuss the mental strength of Daniel Levy, of ENIC and of you.

Ultimately there is also an inevitable conclusion about Mauricio Pochettino.

This video takes us first though, to a point whereby we can recognise a defence mechanism when we hear or see on and encourages everyone to not just think – but think of Bill Nicholson.

Has there ever been a better man to look to inn times of uncertainty?

Bill was plain speaking and didn’t suffer fools gladly.

And Bill will be remembered by history as winner.

A man who spoke with the conviction that only a natural born winner has about them.

THIS VIDEO CONTAINS ONE RUDE WORD AND IS THEREFORE NSFW

Listening to the BBC NEWS sports, it seems that Ian Wright is not totally enamoured
with the Arses new managerial appointment.
    Emery paper thin !

    • Harry Hotspur May 22, 2018 at 8:58 am

      It’s a non appointment.

      Very very strange.

  • gloster1861 May 22, 2018 at 8:02 am

    Second
Without hesitation Spurs 2 most successful managers to date were
    1. Bill Nic and
    2.Keith Birkenshaw

I think honourable mention should be made of Arthur Rowe, a genuine Tottenham boy. His managerial career was blighted by ill health, but he made a major impression on footballing style. The Spurs way of playing can very much be traced to his innovative tactical genius, and passed on to Bill Nic, and also to Ajax and Barca through Vic Buckingham.

    • Harry Hotspur May 22, 2018 at 8:20 am

      Seconded.

      • Dilly May 22, 2018 at 8:27 am

        Fair Point

    • Idrico May 22, 2018 at 9:47 am

What about Terry Venables? / David Pleat ?

  • Syd May 22, 2018 at 7:48 am

There is one player I really wish we would go for and that is Chelsea Loanee Tammy Abrahams. He will be the next Harry Kane in the EPL. Mark my words

    • gloster1861 May 22, 2018 at 7:50 am

With Loftus-Cheek two excellent academy products from a London club. Not Spurs though. How can that be when Tottenham’s training centre is supposedly the best?

  • Syd May 22, 2018 at 7:47 am

    I’m a loser baby…so why don’t ya kill me?

  • Sniper May 22, 2018 at 6:36 am

Good luck to the (rumoured) new manager up the road.
Hope he fails, miserably. And I also hope that the scummy cesspool, rammed half full with entitled, ever expectant yuppy, gormless, arrogant followers dwell in a decade of mediocrity.
In the words of Forrest Gump; “That’s all I have to say about that…”

    • Gus May 22, 2018 at 7:11 am

They need a major rebuild. A guy like Emery, used to owners who try to buy solutions to playing performance problems, May have a rocky ride. Here’s hoping anyway

      • Accy May 22, 2018 at 7:24 am

Emery will have no EPL experience. This is great news.

  • is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? May 22, 2018 at 1:40 am

I haven’t even heard of Arsenals new manager. Another reason for us to up the ante…..we could turn it on its head for the next 20 years cos they are going backwards.

  • Legoverlass May 22, 2018 at 1:08 am

Good to see the Gooner fans totally underwhelmed by the signing of their new manager. Guess Allegri didn’t fancy those WAFA Cup evenings in Turdistan or wherever. Totally agree with you vid comments H. Winning is the only metric of value end of. Billy Nic would have gagged on his words if he uttered that “ competing” was a measure of success. Btw H that is the whitest shirt I have ever seen …. 😎

    • King Leer May 22, 2018 at 6:12 am

      It’s Harry Hotspur’s alter ego:

      The Boy Chutzpah

My guess is that the shirt was paired with some Giorgio Armani jeans raided from a basement in Oxford Street in 1989 and some pink suede loafers by Ferragamo.

    Gus
Agreed. Any in season trophy would be worth having, winning is a habit we have long lost the knack

Some hack pointed out that four of the top six have won silverware in the last 12 months. If Pooh beat Real that will be five, just leaving Spurs with empty hands.

    Watch us Rise.

    • Gloster1861 May 21, 2018 at 11:47 pm

Sorry, that ought to be ‘Watch us have the rise taken out of sad little Spurs.’

  • Gloster1861 May 21, 2018 at 11:32 pm

Tuchel to PSG, he said previously he wants to sign Weigl. The knock on is that Rabiot could become available.

I hope Lanzini is on our radar.

Davy D, on your ever burgeoning list?

    • Dilly May 22, 2018 at 12:25 am

Glos just added Lanzini to my list!

    • Gloster1861 May 21, 2018 at 11:40 pm

Too late for Emery to help poor Arse-shavin.

  • Gloster1861 May 21, 2018 at 11:25 pm

    How Spurs fans should think.

    For themselves?

I’ve never been into group think. You tend to get branded a trouble maker if you don’t comply to the herd mentality. Still, there you go.

I’d have had an easier life if I had been less awkward, but I wasn’t.

  • Nick May 21, 2018 at 11:13 pm

It makes me laugh to read how we must do this & is of benefit to us to let our better players go to the Sky chosen ones. After telling us for months that Rose has burned his bridges & was “destined” to go to Utd in a “mutually beneficial swap deal for Luke Shaw” the scumbag hacks have bigger fish to fry & have gone quiet on the full back. How many games into the World Cup If good performances ensue will they be punting Kane,Eriksen,Alli & Lloris to their favoured beau ?

  • Nick May 21, 2018 at 11:05 pm

You know we are gonna end up with a Alderweireld-Phil Jones swap don’t you 🙄

HH apparently he has been missing for while.

Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich will be forced to open up his books to prove his vast UK-held wealth is legitimate if he wants to return to Britain. The billionaire and close friend of Vladimir Putin has been caught in a clampdown on oligarchs after his visa ran out, amid rising tensions following the poisoning of Russian former spy Sergei Skripal. Mr Abramovich – who recently gifted a £25m yacht to Mr Putin – and some 700 other super-rich Russians who still hold visas must show their money has nothing to do with crime, criminals or anyone whose actions are not “conducive to the public good” – GOOD LUCK!

Total bollocks! a waste of time and space ! Winning the EPL, or the Champions league or even Europa are the only goals to pursue. Other trophies (including the FA Cup) are good for 3 days before they become dust gatherers in some obscure trophy case.

Well…I’d streak across the front lawn, sink a few pints on the way passed North London waving my willy at the Emirates, dance the lambada past the Fridge, kissing everyone along the way…and that’s just the first half hour after picking up the cup.
