Guus Hiddink has been confirmed as the new head coach of the Oranje and will take over from Louis van Gaal after the 2014 World Cup. Hiddink will be assisted by Ruud van Sugarlump, the former Man Utd and Real Madrista.
Whilst this only serves to confirm what Louis Van Gaal had said all along, it now makes the 62 year old eminently available to pick his next gig.
As you might be aware, it was blogged on here on the 5th of this month, that the offices at The Lane were open and busy very early that morning, and the understanding was and still is, that a deal to bring Van Gaal in next season was agreed.
Until then, we can bicker endlessly to no good purpose discuss the contrasting merits and faults of the current bloke and the bloke he preceded ad infinitum.
