It’s not easy being a hesitant cretin.

Daniel levy, King Of Comedy CEO’s has been dealt another blow.

After wasting yet more time in this transfer window, trying to get 87pence shaved off the asking price for Jack Grealish, Aston Villa Football Club have announced that they’ve found funding and are not going out of business, after all.

In a market with ever spiralling transfer fees, it was even beyond ENIC’s representative on Earth to buy a bargain basement player.

Villa’s statement said: “The capital injection and transaction have been approved by the EFL and the parties will work through all confirmatory approvals required by the EFL as soon as possible.. The Club’s management remain focused on strengthening the squad and are fully aligned with the new investors who are supportive of their ambitions”.

Does this sound like a business about to sell it’s prized asset?

No, it doesn’t.

If you click through on the link to the Villa statement in full, you’ll see that the investors are legitimate have been very successful in the sports sector.

It’s hilarious that business guru Daniel Levy has been outmanoeuvred by a company that was recently just days away from a winding up order.
