Harry Kane Back Before March?

By The Boy -

The England skipper has missed the club’s last five games after damaging an ankle during the 1-0 Premier League defeat by Manchester United on January 13.

He was ruled out by his club until March, but, after undergoing a spell of warm weather training, Kane is hoping to be back sooner than expected.

Speaking from the Super Bowl in Atlanta, he told Sky Sports News: “It’s going well. I went away for some warm weather training and we’re stepping it up.

“[We will] see next week how we go, start to get the balls out and just see how the ankle reacts. It’s going well so far, but we have just got to take our time with it and make sure we get it right.

“I never put a time on any of my injuries. It is just about how it feels. The ankle feels great at the moment, so as long as the swelling stays away and we can keep progressing, that would be great.”

He said: “I have been watching the last couple of games [Watford and Newcastle]. It’s been nerve-wracking watching them, but a couple of great wins.”

Spurs have got themselves into the race by winning the rest, breaking the Premier League record for most consecutive games without a draw, now standing at 29 matches going back to last season.

Surely given that he is owner of a very successful outfit (NEP, Champions) makes him an attractive proposition?

Given the fact that Kane supports New England Patriots and hosting games at WHL can’t we tempt, Robert Kraft (wealthy entrepeneur / owner of the NEP to make a takeover bid for THFC?

Its not like he’s required, this division is so bad theres still a billion points clear of 4th in 3rd. Let him rest. We will lose the 3 big away games whether Kane’s there or not. That’s what ENIC fc do.

In enic’s fanatical pursuit of the title, Skip is the replacement for the moose, Jansen is the replacement for Jansen and an extra 9 million is added onto Tracey levy’s restaurant budget.

They may have added Jansen to the squad because Dembele left and we bought nobody. Also, Baldy couldn’t get anyone to bay about £30m for Vinny, unsurprisingly. It’ll be more to boost Vinny’s market value by a few crucial pence…

9 million in the pooper for Levy and Uncle Joe in the last window courtesy of slipping Mousa out the door. . Loan outs for NoCluedo and Sterling to lower the wage bill. Clearly the exit door opens more easily than the entrance one. Failure to add a player again and immediately as if by magic Janssen reappears from the buried depths of Poochs last fatal comments about him that he was in no way part of his plans. Then good news that Harry is returning early. The ole Levy pr spin machine goes into well oiled action yet again to placate the ever faithful CRN’s .

“”[We will] see next week how we go, start to get the balls out and just see how the ankle reacts. It’s going well so far, but we have just got to take our time with it and make sure we get it right.”

I don’t see what the connection between getting his balls out and his ankle is? How is his ankle supposed to react to that? Too much time on his hands? Should make his missus happy then.

Lets hope we don’t rush him back in a race to get top 4. Unless his return will help us win the league or the CL I would rather he comes back a week after he is ready.

Digressing, to those posters who missed the solitary touchdown in this absorbing low scoring war of attrition won by Kane’s supported England Patriots here is the decisive moment!

I still think we’ve played worse cross the board this season than the two before, and that the team has actually regressed. We’ve also had far worse injuries than previous seasons, so how we are third and only five points off the top, with two thirds of the season gone, it truly beggars belief.

I’m starting to wonder if from waaaay out of left field, this season will offer better possibilities to win the whole bloody thing than the last two. Of cours enow i’ve said it we won’t but if we end up being within five or six points when the fat lady sings
then it’s going to burn sooooo bad to know that if our tight arse c*nting chairman had just bought one or two decent players in the Summer..etc etc

Two English players who ive always liked are lallana and sturidge. If they could get super fit and Tottenham tuned they’d make a difference for us. Unless a player is super special id keep my summer shop on shore. Lallana and sturidge would have to be “good price” though.
