This move is widely being reported as a loan deal, which may become permanent subject to various terms and conditions.
In other words, this hardly frees up anything beyond part/all of the player’s salary.
Its a pity this didn’t work out, but then THFC have form for signing players into decent contracts and the players ‘suddenly’ losing all interest in playing for Spurs.
