Housewives choice Dele Alli is cocked, locked and ready to rock, Hurrah.

This certainly comes as a welcome antidote to Joey Barton’s outrageous claims that the lad has taken his eye of the ball due to off-field shenanigans.

“I don’t know what’s going on with Dele [Alli] at the moment. I like him a lot. I like his character – the story about him – but there’s clearly something rumbling in the background. Whether it’s in his personal life, I don’t know what’s going on with the agents, but there’s something not right with him or his inner sanctum at the moment.”

I’m not sure what Dele’s inner sanctum has to with the price of dairy free margarine but I guess we can but hope that Alli’s words are worth a few pence more on the open market than Danny Rose’s.

Even stevens, to cricket lovers, having just taken the crucial wicket of Joe Root England are currently 167-4. Malan on 12 and Moeen on 0 are currently at the crease.

What Poch is doing feels more credible than the spending of Citeh and PSG.

Silly boring cricket battling for the LITTLE URN against the arch enemy Australia all unfolds in the first test in the early hours of the morning. Drama personified below beating Australia by 2 runs in dramatic style at a tense Edgbaston in 2005 sends the local natives into raptures conjuring up iconic moments in sport to say I was there to see it which alas I was not!

We don’t need human filth like Joey Barton to point out the obvious. Dele Alli is a petulant child from a dysfunctional family with too much money and too much love of himself and his own abilities right now. His behavior and handling of life off the pitch seem to be polar opposites compared to Kane. The daily chip wrappers probably stretch that distance more than it is…but from what I can see myself I REALLY hope he knuckles down. At some point he needs to realize he can be so much more than he already is with more focus. That said the way things go these days we’ll find out that Kane has a sex dungeon where Lewis Hotby is chained up and Steffen Freund comes and goes voluntarily.

I recently noticed on my wife’s payslips that her pension wasn’t being deducted. She reported this to her HR department, and it seems a human error on their side mean’t it hadn’t been taken for nearly 13 months.
We received an email today which initially apologised for this, then went on to tell us that we now owe the pension fund £4,633.12. In order to remain in the pension scheme, we can spread this over the remainder of the financial year (4 months), or alternatively send them a cheque for the full amount.

I commented last evening after the match that I was unimpressed with the teams performance in the match against BVB Dortmund, but having just watched the game again I will take those comments back. I was especially sore on Harry Winks and my opinion now is that he was MOTM and then some. He looks like a ‘cool hand luke’ on the ball, as does Davinson Sanchez and they’re the youngest players out there last night. Dele just didn’t get enough of the ball and was always hunting for it but when received it he showed his guile calmness and skill to deliver an assist to Kane and Son. The defence were sound, especially Dier who made some important clearances. BVB are a very skillful side and they played some good football, especially in the first half, they’re just going through a hard time. It was a good second half and much more enjoyable today than watching it live. Apologies Mr Winks.

    • Hotspice November 22, 2017 at 5:19 pm

Totally agree. The game’s much less fun when a more disciplined performance is needed, and I’ve no doubt West Brom this weekend could be a little like Groundhog Day as we try to breakdown the entire team they’ll have camped out behind the ball. But when you consider the age of some of our players and the performances being put in…amazing. When Dier tries to be too positive his passing is on par with a pit pony. But his defending was solid last night and he was very unlucky not to score as their keeper pulled off a worldy. But the best for me was clearing out Aubameyangadingdong as he was bearing down on Lloris in a similar position to his goal…where either Verts or Rose should have been. Not emphatic, but that was some result.

        Worse, public sector.

  • Yiddo November 22, 2017 at 3:33 pm

I know he’s outspoken and I’ll be alone on this one, but I really like Barton. Which is why it annoys me that he has joined the crew of pundits that employ loaded speculation as their modus operandi.
It’s like a politician who tries to assassinate his rival by making up something about him and defending him. “I like my rival, he’d make a good prime minister. And I don’t believe for a second those horrible rumours about him murdering prostitutes in his youth.”
    Cue media frenzy. Fuck off.

    • Harry Hotspur November 22, 2017 at 3:40 pm

      I agree with you.

    • UnkleTaff November 22, 2017 at 4:01 pm

I’d’ve loved to have seen him in a Tottenham shirt.

    • Hotspice November 22, 2017 at 5:25 pm

Spot on. As for politics I can only say that Bill Clinton and Joey Barton have completely different ideas of where to stick cigars…despite the actions being a pretty good metaphor for both!

    Fine words indeed.

  • Horndog 🇺🇸 November 22, 2017 at 3:06 pm

You know, when he speaks he sounds like a intelligent fella……

    • Horndog 🇺🇸 November 22, 2017 at 3:07 pm

      an, speaking of intelligence, ffs.

      • 61SpursNut🌰 November 22, 2017 at 3:10 pm

At least you are aware of your many shortcomings.

        • Horndog 🇺🇸 November 22, 2017 at 3:12 pm

Many being the key word. Love you Nutty!

          • 61SpursNut🌰 November 22, 2017 at 3:14 pm

Guffaw! See you in the round of 16.

            • Horndog 🇺🇸 November 22, 2017 at 3:20 pm

              Maybe, would be awesome

    • Yiddo November 22, 2017 at 3:38 pm

Really? You’d get drunk pretty soon if you had a shot after each time he says “team” or “important.” 8 seconds of content in 39 seconds of talking. But I’m happy for him regardless!

      • Frontwheel 2 November 22, 2017 at 4:47 pm

What do you want,a great footy player,or someone who can do a great after dinner speech.

        • Yiddo November 22, 2017 at 5:17 pm

Correct. Just saying he didn’t come across as intelligent, in response to Horndog’s assertion.

          • Horndog 🇺🇸 November 22, 2017 at 5:29 pm

We just hear differently, that’s OK.
