For The Love Of …His Long Range Passes

By The Boy -
Festive Selection Box

The recent contract extensions from the club have spoken volumes.

Two of our very best players put on minimum commitment retaining deals, to see us over the threshold of the shopping centre’s grand opening.

Revolucion ceramic mug

Champions League grade players shown the sort of contempt one would normally seen dished out to journeymen.

This video reel is just a snapshot, just a taste of one aspect of Alderweireld’s game.

There is NO logic NO good reason that Toby isn’t part of the club’s short to medium term future.

Whilst Sanchez was deeemed culpable for losing his marker for Wolves equaliser it’s a moot point whether Lloris should have come for the cross when deciding not to he was still beaten by the power of Bolly’s header.

TOTTENHAM is a big place with many other small businesses. I never wanted the old lane knocked down but hey it has been. I’m over it. (I still have my memories) We’re gonna batter teams at the new lane. Our noise will be eminence. More chance earning silver at the new lane I recon. Oh and the actual stadium cost £550m

Like everyone else on the TOTTENHAM highroad they know how much spurs brings and cant wait for her to come home. 19 prem matches. 16 concerts. Domestic/European games the little 2nfl games also a yank team may play a season here. Whats not to love. Or would you prefer the stadium to be spurs football only? This is london mate. Tappa, spurs needed a bigger capacity (although why it needed to cost a billion pounds has still to be explained). But the last thing the new ground was intended to be was an aid to local businesses. Enic’s intention is the very opposite… to deprive local businesses even of the occasional trade they got from spurs games.

Its the first step. A nice earner for Levy to get his feet on the mat. This was the plan all along. An NFL team resident groundshare. Raiders lease was up, they must have known for a good while. We got a club shop selling almost half NFL gear and people are still none the wiser. What a nightmare.

For the love of god, people getting excited about a bottom feeder NFL team that’s moving to Vegas because the city they started in wont give them millions of tax payer dollars to billionaires for a new stadium. I get angry about our new stadium, should have just added stands. But at least we paid for it (loaned) & arnt moving to Brighton cause they they offer a better tax incentive. Having scum like the NFL being our partners for the future is disconcerting say the least

My dichotomy of being a supporter of THFC is my passion for the football club carved from the formative granite of my childhood standing next to my family, generation alongside generation watching some of the greatest players to ever wear the shirt, swaying with the crowd listening to Glory Glory Hallelujah in all weathers. Experiences that carved in me a slice of THFC that will never fade.Yet alongside this exists a total loathing of everything that ENIC stands for and everything it does without any sense of connection with what the club is and represents and what they as owners are tasked with and responsible for protecting and developing. The sanitising stench of ENIC permeates throughout every fibre of the club and in many ways I see Pooch as someone who looks to separate the squad and the fans as much as possible from the reality of the cancer that eats away inside it’s hallowed halls. He has sold his soul in part by remaining whilst knowing the reality yet lured by the pot of gold he was offered. He accepted the dieseased carcass and carries it on his back whilst he moves slowly to the exit door before he gets sucked down into that black hole of despair that greets every false dawn that the supporters have seen come and go during a tenure of 17 years and just one solitary success. How do you accommodate both positions under the umbrella of being a supporter. How do players accommodate both and take a relentless desire for victory at all costs onto the pitch every time they wear the shirt. The answer is they do not and we see that in performances like the last one and the fact is supporters drift away from the close entanglement they have felt with the club to a more distant and less emotive relationship. Into this grey space enters the corporate prawn cocktail brigade and the cheese and wine connoisseurs wearing the dual branding of the EPLand NFL. In this space every action, every reaction is adjusted to garner more financial succour from the pockets of the faceless crowds shuffling quietly along its marbled corridors. ENIC totalitarianism in every fibre of the new stadium experience smorgasbords of gentrification of the souls within. This is a microcosm of the external globalisation ideology being swept across the planet like a tsunami by the faceless elites. We may not win trophies or titles but we can say we were perhaps the first club to achieve this neutered status thanks to ENIC.

Don’t forget the dumbdumbs think that Toby is injury prone, and demanding 5m a week blah blah. Its a reasonably simple situation. He’s the best we have. To replace at the same level would cost well over 50m in my opinion. And that player will want what he wants in wages anyway. Don’t have to be Carol vordermans love child to do this maths. And if it’s true that rabiot has said all this, Daniel will be sending him a hamper right now. Probably from aldi but a hamper nonetheless. He’s not interested in getting in any player for the here and now, who could help us win something, and subsequently wants to be paid more than the plumbers on the building site. Rabiot????
