Festive Selection Box

The recent contract extensions from the club have spoken volumes.

Two of our very best players put on minimum commitment retaining deals, to see us over the threshold of the shopping centre’s grand opening.

Revolucion ceramic mug

Champions League grade players shown the sort of contempt one would normally seen dished out to journeymen.

This video reel is just a snapshot, just a taste of one aspect of Alderweireld’s game.

There is NO logic NO good reason that Toby isn’t part of the club’s short to medium term future.

  • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 1, 2019 at 2:24 pm

My word Everton are shat. All I needed was a draw.

  • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 1, 2019 at 1:50 pm

Just listening to rant by an Arsenal fan. Its uncanny how similar the clubs are now. The gripes are identical, only we got the NFL and a lot of Spurs are still happy bizzarely. Us , them and West Ham have all been turned over by money hungry filth. 3 great London clubs with the soul torn out.
He s reaction to Cahill rumours was ‘why are we paying top price if the club aren’t?’
    Why indeed?

    • Billy the yid January 1, 2019 at 1:57 pm

I saw that. Granted its the gift that keeps giving, arsenal fan TV, but when I listened to the goon tosser I couldn’t help think that’s us!!! Our whole house of cards is gonna collapse, and the second the parasites think they got nfl they will drop spurs like a bag of shit. Already got previous all over Europe for doing it so don’t kid yourselves they won’t. Got visions of levy in the nags head Peckham attempting to get del boycie and trigger to form a consortium to buy us out. ENIC OUT

      • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 1, 2019 at 2:03 pm

Yep. Even in the dark years we could take solice in at least not being like them lot. Not now. Levy followed the model and upped the stakes with NFL. Look at where Vicenza ended up after ENICs treatment.

        • Billy the yid January 1, 2019 at 2:24 pm

That shows what a great business man he is, he’s following a plan from that shower of shit whereby they made top 4 regularly, but went backwards big time thank god. Unless you count cups. Which we don’t try in anyway. It would give an aspirin a headache this mess

  • Billy the yid January 1, 2019 at 1:11 pm

I think we should make a concerted effort to remove these twats from the club this year. Be the best resolution we ever made!!!!

  • Eddie January 1, 2019 at 1:09 pm

HAPPY NEW YEAR one and all.

  • Eddie January 1, 2019 at 1:07 pm

The next four weeks should provide much hilarity when reading about all the super stars we are allegedly linked with in this transfer window.I can’t wait for 1st.February to run my finger down the list of new players Levy has signed and read………..NOBODY.
The total disrespect Levy has shown towards Toby and Jan with their one year extensions, will come home to us when they are both gone.Perhaps the best central defensive partnership in the Prem in the the last three seasons will walk and we will be right in the s h I t.Closely followed by Eriksen no doubt.I despair at times.
Get ye gone satan’s spawn that is ENIC/Levy.

  • Legoverlass January 1, 2019 at 12:51 pm

My dichotomy of being a supporter of THFC is my passion for the football club carved from the formative granite of my childhood standing next to my family, generation alongside generation watching some of the greatest players to ever wear the shirt, swaying with the crowd listening to Glory Glory Hallelujah in all weathers. Experiences that carved in me a slice of THFC that will never fade.Yet alongside this exists a total loathing of everything that ENIC stands for and everything it does without any sense of connection with what the club is and represents and what they as owners are tasked with and responsible for protecting and developing. The sanitising stench of ENIC permeates throughout every fibre of the club and in many ways I see Pooch as someone who looks to separate the squad and the fans as much as possible from the reality of the cancer that eats away inside it’s hallowed halls. He has sold his soul in part by remaining whilst knowing the reality yet lured by the pot of gold he was offered. He accepted the dieseased carcass and carries it on his back whilst he moves slowly to the exit door before he gets sucked down into that black hole of despair that greets every false dawn that the supporters have seen come and go during a tenure of 17 years and just one solitary success. How do you accommodate both positions under the umbrella of being a supporter. How do players accommodate both and take a relentless desire for victory at all costs onto the pitch every time they wear the shirt. The answer is they do not and we see that in performances like the last one and the fact is supporters drift away from the close entanglement they have felt with the club to a more distant and less emotive relationship. Into this grey space enters the corporate prawn cocktail brigade and the cheese and wine connoisseurs wearing the dual branding of the EPLand NFL. In this space every action, every reaction is adjusted to garner more financial succour from the pockets of the faceless crowds shuffling quietly along its marbled corridors. ENIC totalitarianism in every fibre of the new stadium experience smorgasbords of gentrification of the souls within. This is a microcosm of the external globalisation ideology being swept across the planet like a tsunami by the faceless elites. We may not win trophies or titles but we can say we were perhaps the first club to achieve this neutered status thanks to ENIC.

      I jest….

    • Billy the yid January 1, 2019 at 1:10 pm

I’d like to say brilliant, but I’m not sure it’s the right word. We must get rid of these parasites from the club

    • Dan January 1, 2019 at 1:49 pm

Great post legoverlass . Unfortunately this isn’t just true to our club or even football, it’s an epidemic across all major sports now. Look at all the major North American sports and it’s all corporate cheese /prawn eating bastards sitting there quietly or talking business while the game is going on in the background. Stolen from the common working class people that made the game great as they are priced out by the suits and tourists.

    • Limerick AL. January 1, 2019 at 4:03 pm

Excellent Piece. Why can’t the Majority see this before their eyes ?

  • Billy the yid January 1, 2019 at 12:24 pm

Don’t forget the dumbdumbs think that Toby is injury prone, and demanding 5m a week blah blah. Its a reasonably simple situation. He’s the best we have. To replace at the same level would cost well over 50m in my opinion. And that player will want what he wants in wages anyway. Don’t have to be Carol vordermans love child to do this maths. And if it’s true that rabiot has said all this, Daniel will be sending him a hamper right now. Probably from aldi but a hamper nonetheless. He’s not interested in getting in any player for the here and now, who could help us win something, and subsequently wants to be paid more than the plumbers on the building site. Rabiot???? The man couldn’t do a deal for grealish ffs🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • Dan January 1, 2019 at 11:12 am

We bought no one in the summer ……… no one , it’s the most telling statement the club has made of there intent . No one!!!!!!!!!

  • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 1, 2019 at 9:28 am

That’s telling considering we are in a supposed title race and in CL knockout stages with a brave new world stadia extravaganza on the horizon. ENICs progress isn’t seen as anything outside the castle walls. Rabiot probably sees ENIC FC don’t win things or even attempt to help managers to win things therefore players will look at Toby and Tin Tin etc and think….no thanks to Spurs.

In the news this AM that Fergie has been involved in Utds on the pitch business since Ole Gunnar has come in, he’s had words, been at training ground etc exactly as I said. Nobody likes a know all but its getting tough being right about pretty much everything. (Except Wolves) oh dear

  • StuSpur January 1, 2019 at 7:16 am

Just reading about clubs that charge for match day mascots. Spurs are the only top 5 team that charge a fee. Over £400!
    Absolutely no surprise.

      Dispicable parasites.

  • dilly January 1, 2019 at 1:02 am

Paris St-Germain and France midfielder Adrien Rabiot will not consider a move to Tottenham because he considers the club “below” his level. The 23-year-old wants
to leave the French champions. (ESPN)

    • East Stand January 1, 2019 at 11:41 am

I’m not sure he actually said that, it was probably a journo’s quote that has now become gospel.

But will Poch drop both Lloris and Trippier? Unlikely!

                • Tappaspur January 1, 2019 at 1:09 am

I recon our defenders prefer hugo behind them.

                  • dilly January 1, 2019 at 1:11 am

Not sure why as IMO Gassiniga is far more imposing and vociferous than Lloris.

                    • dilly January 1, 2019 at 1:17 am

Whilst Sanchez was deeemed culpable for losing his marker for Wolves equaliser it’s a moot point whether Lloris should have come for the cross when deciding not to he was still beaten by the power of Bolly’s header.

  • MrChickenHead December 31, 2018 at 8:23 pm

Totally agree but the Festive selection box is empty. I do see the Revolucion ceramic mug though using Chrome.

  • Mikespurs December 31, 2018 at 8:20 pm

For the love of god, people getting excited about a bottom feeder NFL team that’s moving to Vegas because the city they started in wont give them millions of tax payer dollars to billionaires for a new stadium. I get angry about our new stadium, should have just added stands. But at least we paid for it (loaned) & arnt moving to Brighton cause they they offer a better tax incentive. Having scum like the NFL being our partners for the future is disconcerting say the least

    • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? December 31, 2018 at 9:49 pm

Its the first step. A nice earner for Levy to get his feet on the mat. This was the plan all along. An NFL team resident groundshare. Raiders lease was up, they must have known for a good while. We got a club shop selling almost half NFL gear and people are still none the wiser. What a nightmare.

      • Tappaspur January 1, 2019 at 12:31 am

I don’t get why you are so against extra money coming into the club and the local economy. The stadium will be open 365 days a year. Brilliant. Looking forward to taking my grandson to the climbing wall thingy.

        • Mikespurs January 1, 2019 at 1:10 am

The proposed walkway would bypass the local economy. & stadiums dont help the locals (read many of hh articles of residence get screwed) I can give you more if you would like…….or clap your happy hands like it’s not happening

          • Mikespurs January 1, 2019 at 1:18 am

Hey let’s not even bring up the local busines…..that mysteriously burnt to the ground. But why ruin the narrative of a happy new dreamland. I dont even live there & see the hypocrisy of it all

            • Tappaspur January 1, 2019 at 6:13 am

Don’t even live here” therefore you wont have a clue how much small independent traders have lost since our club left. Untold grands. A lot have folded. Like everyone else on the TOTTENHAM highroad they know how much spurs brings and cant wait for her to come home. 19 prem matches. 16 concerts. Domestic/European games the little 2nfl games also a yank team may play a season here. Whats not to love. Or would you prefer the stadium to be spurs football only? This is london mate. People/business rent out rooms and space.

          • Tappaspur January 1, 2019 at 5:46 am

So no one will be walking from seven sisters anymore? ” Arguably the best football stadium in the world is on my manor, plus I worked on it. I’m proud. Now ill leave you to continue putting us down.

          • Tappaspur January 1, 2019 at 6:17 am

Give me more s h I t please. “Stadiums dont help locals. Bet west hams green st traders wouldn’t agree

            • Ronan January 1, 2019 at 9:36 am

Tappa, spurs needed a bigger capacity (although why it needed to cost a billion pounds has still to be explained). But the last thing the new ground was intended to be was an aid to local businesses. Enic’s intention is the very opposite… to deprive local businesses even of the occasional trade they got from spurs games.

        • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 1, 2019 at 9:32 am

Whatever money coming in will not benefit our football team I’m afraid.

        • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 1, 2019 at 9:40 am

Everything’s in the stadium. Local businesses will be bypassed, most have gone anyway along with all the homes lost. You know this cos you’ve commented many times about how awful it is cos your seeing it first hand.

          • Tappaspur January 1, 2019 at 11:11 am

TOTTENHAM is a big place with many other small businesses. I never wanted the old lane knocked down but hey it has been. I’m over it. (I still have my memories) We’re gonna batter teams at the new lane. Our noise will be eminence. More chance earning silver at the new lane I recon. Oh and the actual stadium cost £550m
