Faulty Goods – Sell ASAP

By The Boy -

There are two types of people in the world.

Those of no particular persuasion whatsoever (I call them cat people) and dog people.

Man and dog are made for each other. I know what the grief of losing a four legged friend feels like. The first time I became an erstwhile dad to a dog, I described the aftermath as ‘being angry for 6 months and resentful for a hell of a long time afterwards’.

If you can’t begin to grasp the bond that exists between a man and his dog, I have nothing for you that can help you shift from the place that you’re in.

But I never missed a day of work once because of a dog’s death. I wept, I drank a bit and I got through it.

I worked in the real world, cheek by jowl with people who could only get time off for the death of immediate blood relatives – like parents, partners or children.

The Telegraph say that Erik Lamela’s absence is in part due to his dog dying.

Lamela underwent a scan on his hip in Rome last Friday that revealed no major problems and he remains in Italy working on his fitness with no date yet set for his return.”

Hang on.

One minute it was a 5 month absence for a mystery condition that had yet to be diagnosed. The next, there’s sod all wrong with him.

It’s painfully obvious that ANY explanation for Lamela’s 5 month absence is as valid as a note form his GP saying ‘I can confirm that he’s got a gigantic cocaine habit’.

Spurs need to get rid of players that hide.

Lamela’s hiding.

Sell.
