I recently stayed at a hotel that described itself as “boutique” in Nottingham.
For reasons I still can’t satisfactorily explain even to myself, I only gave the place a cursory glance online before booking. The restaurant looked tip top. I have weaknesses.
I won’t bore you with the clusterfaks that befell me in my 48hrs in the City that gave us ***** (perhaps the runes were already cast).
But what really grated, was the complete and utter ‘straight bat’ that the staff and owner played despite me being uncharacteristically civil.
To say butter wouldn’t melt is an understatement. To talk to these religious cultesque robots, you’d think I was some unreasonable loon. A trouble maker. Some ne’er-do-well who couldn’t cope with the true cost of a decent hotel.
After grumbling about the jaunt to a pal, he simply mailed me a link to Hart’s tripadvisor reviews. The less positive of which all echoed the very same groans I’d had with the place.
I’d clearly been complaining to a complete conman.
How was the post match tannoy blast of music for you, vs Stoke? I was watching on a bent stream, but one which didn’t get immediately chopped at the final whistle. I could hear some idiot rock music noticably blaring out.
So did thousands of other people. No more so than those at those at the bloody game! And one such pilgrim was the much respected and hugely enjoyable broadcaster Danny Kelly.

Who was physically in the “sound booth” at the time of this allegation of “drowning outof supporters booing by @SpursOfficial (INCREDIBLY LOUD MUSIC) was made?
Please bare in mind, Danny Kelly was not alone, much like my hotel complaint.
